The LEDs were wired together in parallel and the positive tied into the top left lead (yellow/green) which are switched on/off with the marker lights. The negative tied to any ground bolt under the hood.

Well, using the same lights as you (white instead of amber, though), I used Stage 3 Motorsports wiring harness to plug into the marker light. But the lights would never light up. Volt meter said there was 12v there, but still nothing. So, being as I'm not electrically inclined, I'm going to have a local shop find an alternative wiring setup like yours.

One question about this photo: where is this yellow/green wire located? I can't figure out that location.

I'd follow Stage 3's instructions...their set up probably is different...the yellow/green is upper left looking down...or is it yellow/orange...you'd have read back in my build as someone corrected me...:)

Another step closer...got my "Last Line of Defense" style Front Runner racks mounted to the Diamondback...without the RTT loaded, both hatch open normally:)

Looks great! How many fasteners are used to attach each of those tracks to the diamond back and what size are they?

The tracks came in a set of two 1400mm...each need to be cut into two so the hatch can still open...that left two fasteners for each half but I added an additional fastener...not sure about the size but I can check if you need them...

No need to go out of your way to check. I also took inspiration from LLOD, but I wanted something a little more low profile. I ended up making my own system out of 8020 extruded aluminum. I did a similar split track and chose to use 3 fasteners per track. I was mostly curious if that was in line with front runner solution. Thanks for the help!

Yes, I ended up adding another fastener for 3 on each rail though it didn't seem to need it as the originator of this setup, "Last Line of Defense" didn't and he's had many different tents up there doing a lot of off roading:like:

Don't know why I waited so long! Finally got into Forscan mods:)

Got the following done:

1-calibrated 33" tires for speedo
2-ding ding chime killed
3-Bambi light...YES!
4-Dark mode
5-Seat belt chime
6-killed auto start/stop:like:

A few thoughts on this...first the recalibration worked just about perfect...before, at indicated 66mph, my actual GPS speed is 70mph...after calibration, indicated speed 71mph is 70mph GPS...same one mile per hour difference at 81 = 80...good to go:like:

Second, my city mileage before was 18mpg +-...after 22mpg+-...interesting! I always figured that I haven't actually traveled the indicated 28,000+ miles as I have larger than stock tires...also the mileage calculation is the same 4mph difference in speed before and after...so like I had theorized, my actual MPG is brighter than before:like:

Third, the dark mode seemed to work as described EXCEPT when in full auto mode it doesn't allow fog!o_O So I turned that off as I really didn't see a need in my case...

Next up, turn off the door open chime:wink:

It looks like the polarity was reversed. Everything else checked out. Finally got mine working. Thanks for all your help.

Few questions for you. Can I ask which bluetooth scan tool you picked to work with OBD Fusion? Out of their recommendations, if I go with Android it looks like OBDLink LX would work for me, but the MX is for iPads.

Does it connect automatically when you start your truck? Do you have your tablet configured to turn on with power on the USB plug? Can you make it go straight to the OBD Fusion screen?

I wonder if these scan tools will eventually let me mess with Forscan or if I need a different hard wired connector. I don't really know much about all this.

How are you liking the MBRP exhaust? Have you had the opportunity to do any towing with it? The price point of it is really appealing, but I do enough towing that the noise increase at highway speeds is my major concern.
