I came across this bit of info, I did NOT check out if it is correct or not......

Think a gallon of gas is expensive?

This makes one think, and also puts things into perspective.

Diet Snapple, 16 oz , $1.29... $10.32 per gallon!

Starbuck's Reg. Coffee 16 oz, $2.10... $16.80 per gallon!

Lipton Ice Tea, 16 oz , $1.19... $9.52 per gallon!

Gatorade, 20 oz , $1.59... $10.17 per gallon!

Ocean Spray, 16 oz , $1.25... $10.00 per gallon!

Brake Fluid, 12 oz , $3.15... $33.60 per gallon!

Vick's Nyquil, 6 oz , $8.35... $178.13 per gallon!

Pepto Bismol, 4 oz, $3.85... $123.20 per gallon!

Whiteout, 7 oz , $1.39... $25.42 per gallon!

Scope, 1.5 oz , $0.99... $84.48 per gallon!

And this is the REAL KICKER.

Evian water, 9 oz , $1.49... $21.19 per gallon!
$21.19 for a gallon of WATER!!

and the buyers don't even know the source!!

(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

Ever wonder why computer printers are so cheap?
So they can hook you for the ink. Someone calculated the cost of the ink at
$5,200 a gallon.

Interesting...
But I still doesn't make me any happier for paying $4.54 for a gallon of regular at the local Chevron station. Thanks California.

Got one to add to your list.

Milk from the dairy I work for is over $7/gallon.

I buy grass fed milk. That’s $10 a gallon on sale. $12 regular price.

Ours is grass fed, organic, antibiotic free in glass bottles delivered to the door. Seems like we're providing quite the value.

My price is about half the customer price. Makes it a bit cheaper than your ordinary grocery store milk. Although, I was a customer for years before I hired on with them. It's good stuff that's worth the price if you drink smaller quantities. Some of our customers with lots of kids that go through a lot of milk have over $400/month dairy bills though.

Milk is my vice, has been my whole life. I can easily consume a gallon of milk every 3 days if I just forgo other liquid sources.

I actually switched recently to those ultra-pasteurized brands when available that are $3.99 for the 32oz or whatever it is just to cut down on sugar intake.

Put it this way, I keep a cooler in my patrol car, along with a few diet drinks and water, I generally also have one of those 32oz of milk in there as well.

Yea I know, Its weird.

Damn bro my Kroger 2% is only $2.50 per gallon. lol
It's pricey, but it's tasty. Generally the milk we serve customers is about 24 hours old. You can't get much more fresh unless you have your own milk cow.

Have you got any milk delivery services nearby? Might want to check them out.
At the very least might wanna "check" on any of their drivers in your area. I know I always offer officers something if I run accross them while working.

If you get out towards Denver sometime let me know. I'll hook you up!

I thought all cows ate grass.
Cows would love to eat grass. But the cheap price milk in the grocery store is milk from cows living off corn, grain, oats, or wheat. Its a low cost food supply but not what cows should be eating.
