Went back down to Canyonlands/Arches NPs. This time we did the Shaffer Trail/Potash Rd. Total we did 73 miles off road; more impressed with this trucks capability everyday. Towed the camper down comfortably, hit some trails, and towed back with zero issues.

Every Sunday night shift I have to deal with traffic jams in IH15 southbound from Jean to Primm Nevada. Primm is on state line of CA and NV. 12 miles distance is Jean to Primm so you can see traffic jam on second pic that I bypass by driving off-road. All the Californians leaving Vegas going back home every weekend.

So I hit the dry lake bed for about 10 miles and can drive as fast as I want while trappic rolls along IH15 at 2 mph.

Had to drive through a lot of mud to get here (you can tell from the tires). I didn't think of shooting a pic on the muddy bits, too bad. My first time taking the Ranger Raptor off road, and I was really impressed.

Ha ha, I should've, but I was nervous at the time; I thought it was a pretty tough trail. Only took that shot because I was already at the easy part :)

That's just smart. I made the mistake of driving to Vegas once and got stuck in that awful Primm traffic and decided I will only fly there from now on.

You and I have identical trucks (from factory). How do you find offroading with the big air dam on there? I was honestly considering buying the FX4 skid plate to tack onto mine when I get to that point. That's a level and different wheels at a minimum from happening. Have you run into any issues? Do you have any regrets about not getting the FX4 package off the bat?

The only regret I have from purchasing is no locker. Which you don't even need the FX4 package for, I just wish there were actual options for our trucks in the aftermarket (ARB's air solution is a non-starter at ~$2k just for parts).

As for the air dam, I almost never notice it's there. I've definitely hit it quite a few times and it's gotten pretty scratched up, but I've never torn it off or had it really get in my way with anything. I've also done no suspension changes yet either, only going to 32" tires from stock. I'm going to be getting the ARB OME setup when I can get it in stock, but honestly I have no regrets over not getting the FX4 package or not swapping to an FX4 skid.
