The only thing about right is the number of hot dogs (maybe beer) in a package...other then that...it's the old axiom...grab yo ass and hang on. Keep your expectations elseware...

I am glad to see I am not the only one that thinks the QC folks gave up giving a shit.... first mod I did was take that made in Michigan sticker off.... it wasn’t even on straight and had air bubbles... it drives me nuts because it’s the little things that shouldn’t be hard to control that are poorly done (for me at least)... I have a factory installed dent, for starts. Also am on my 4th dealer visit for warranty work for small stupid things.
I love my Ranger, but it’s got some QC issues...

I've seen other rangers with the same gap on the left, mine included. I also have the driver door misalignment, tailgate misalignment, fender misalignment, and grill misalignment. I discovered that Ford had a shortage on hydraulic fluid so they were using manpower, it explained a lot.

In all seriousness, mine does have all of the aforementioned fitment issues. I'll eventually fix the front bumper but the other ones I don't care as much about. Don't worry about it afecting other areas of the truck. The interior on mine and the tidiness of the engine bay are flawless.

I don't understand the "muscle man" representation.

I've been fairly pleased with my Lariat. The tailgate has a bit larger gap on the left than right, but I can live with it. I haven't noticed any other major defects, yet. Only had it for 6 weeks so far.

Funny you say that. Last week I did mine. Took 3 adjustments before I realized I got to pull them all the way out and then push the nose back in and tighten down. Looking at the fender panels the elongated is maxed and you can clearly see where the fastener was before. Opposite side! ? Still has a touch of overhang from hood but that’s all it’s going go.

Dude my fenders are good, so what’s your point?
Dude, you said "Ummmmm huh"? as if you had no idea what I was talking about.
And its the hood overlapping the fenders, not the fenders themselves. Ummmmm.

My tailgate is not evenly gapped on both sides. I will just live with it even though I despise it.

My 2016 Mustang had HORRIBLE panel gap consistency. I made the dealer fix everything they could. They damn near told me never to return. I hope Ford heard about me. Ford's ability to line up parts these days is bloody horrible. VW gets it right. Toyota gets it right. Hyundai gets it right. Hell, even every single recent Chevrolet I've come across was damn good. Dodge is getting it right.

But Ford... nope.

I think every Ranger I have seen in person has misaligned fenders, and good luck getting the dealer to adjust them if you don't catch it before purchase, they are within factory spec and the dealers don't want to touch them.

My 2016 mustang hood was misaligned but not as bad as the ranger. I will just live with it because the bolts are painted over and I would worry at will effect resale if it makes someone think it was previously wrecked. My dash is also misaligned above the glovebox but I had the dash out in my mustang and it's never quite the same after, so I will leave it as is.
