I was there in the late 70' s , sitting in a LONG line to get gas with my dad , thinking "this sucks ! When I finally get MY ride I won't be able to afford or FIND gas!" it went away though, right before I got my first car... Pinto ,all glass hatchback... even survived a rear ender in it... didn't blow up er nuthin'...
Learned my best Navy language from my grandfather and great uncle during the Carter years.

That's the equivalent of me putting a flag over it to hide it ... retractable fender skirts is where I'd like to be , auto adjust to how much weight is in the bed , also , why don't we have built in bed scales ? Be nice to have that on my screen , should be standard on any ? ? ? ... isn't this the future ?
i remember being promised flying cars and Nexus 6 synths by 2014

Who do we blame for this mess?
Laws of economics.
Supply goes down, price goes up.

wheel well liners??
the internet has your back.
be creative

My kind of fix in the first video. Just run some self tapping screws through the sheet metal and you are good to go.

i actually have a whole box of those plastic push pins.
was cheaper to buy a box on amazon than it was to get just one at the dealer.

so I would go with those instead self tapping screws. ?
Actually , a flat piece of that felt stuff like on the front if trimmed right might pretty that area up a bit ... Husky and Weathertech have everydamnthingelse , not sure why they stopped before making some liners for Rangers...

Damn ...looks pretty level though...
It does, doesn't it? I have no suspension mods. Looks like the dreaded Ranger rake is gone, though (LOL). That's just a bit over rated load, but I drove it home like that, about 8 miles of city streets, and although I took it easy on stopping, starting or turning to avoid dumping the stacks of ceramic tile over, there were no obvious drivability issues. Never hit any bump stops, no wandering or wallowing. No noticeable effect on acceleration. She was just takin' care of business...

working in the oil and gas industry I can tell you that drilling for more oil isn't quite the answer...we have plenty of feedstock for fuels - but our refining capacity is somewhat hampered due to EPA regulation. Again this is PART of the issue but not entirely.

As for the record profits of the oil field majors - most folks think that money goes into the pockets of the execs...and sure some of it does as well as bonus checks for the knuckle draggers out in the field (like me). The majority of that goes back into the company for all kinds of things like exploration, refurbishment, expansion when possible, etc.

The major problem here is that all you hear is "record profits" and then the news feed shuts off right after that. Its basically lying by omission and the main reason why I detest any and all news now.

Fuel prices here in my neck of Texas - 3.89 - 3.99 for 87 octane...and I thank God I don't have a tune.

As for the exposed wheel well space on my baby...she is just showing her knickers. :p

The party of climate change SAID they would make it harder for regular people to use their gas-powered... anything... and they meant it.

Life is just tougher with them in power.

You get what you vote for, I guess.

I prefer it over Communism, or Socialism? Seen both and I will pass.
You ve … seen what? one is the economic system which is currently undermining the western values once more and the others are political utopias with the idea of prosperity for all…
How about reading a book instead of sticking silly flags here as an avatar…

So you're in the middle of the EU, where? I am guessing Germany. Won't get in a pissing match but I lived in Europe for 10 years, was in East Germany before the wall came down, traveled all over, so yes, I have seen other systems, ours isn't perfect by any stretch, but I prefer it.

Canada is quasi-socialist, with capitalist underpinnings. I prefer that over unfettered capitalism and tax avoidance by the super rich.

Think of it this way: if a billionaire collected old newspapers and other shit instead of dollar bills, he would be called a hoarder and sent for mental help. But since it's money, hey, grab and hold as much as you can, even as society fails around all of us. I think humanity is ultimately screwed if we don't come up with a different way of doing things.

I agree, drove all of the way across Canada on a M/C, only thing I didn't like was the high cost of everything, must be worse now. The getting of money is a disease at some point, I would not want to be rich, to many problems.
