Oddly enough, I have the opposite problem. Mine always shows slightly under-filled at 6.2 quarts. I usually just put 7 quartz in, and then it shows very slightly overfilled. Not overfilled enough to worry about crank-strike or foaming from the cassette. At the next OTI, it usually indicates near perfect level. Your results may vary.
