Nope. Engine still starts even... but cant open the passenger door.

No injuries, barely felt it even. It was a small deer but i was moving... ill try to get my dash cam footage soon
Glad to hear that. It seems from the incidents shared on this site the Ranger does an excellent job of protecting it’s owner.

There's no way to avoid that especially with the sun glaring in right before he ran out.

You need to petition the city/town to put these out. 🦌

Man, it happens so quickly!

You had no chance to react at all - the sun, glare, shadows, and such a fast moving object.

Wow!

Like everyone said before no chance on avoiding the deer. Had one similar to that a few years ago, luckily the deers timing was half a second off he was past me before I could react. Even the Subaru AEB could not react to it.

Yep totaled. Was originally looking at a lincoln aviator to replace it. Wife drove one and even with adaptive suspension it felt really boat and old person-y. But I do think they look nice. Then we drove an explorer ST that still had the massage seats, and she was sold. Preferred the responsiveness. So with the last day of ford employee pricing, plus first responder discount, and some more negotiating I took this explorer home.

Still waiting on the insurance check but need wheels.

Here it is parked next to a cybertruck.

I rode in a friend's Explorer a couple of years ago. It was sweet!

These are very nice, the wife and I purchased a red one on memorial day. Took it to the coast and back last month. Great for traveling.
