I haven't checked in with the forum for awhile so I thought I"d post on a new tire purchase.
After 37,000 miles on the OEM Bridgestone Dueler HT's I had a new set of Michelin Cross Climate 2's installed today. For those unfamiliar with them I posted a picture of the tread pattern. I know it's an unusual choice for a light truck but the reviews on very good.
AT tires weren't for me as the vast majority of time the Ranger is on pavement. The OEM HT's were fine except on those rare occasions I've been on wet grass or sandy soil. These new tires should do very well in the rain that we get in Florida and the tread pattern should do well in sand.
On the drive home I could tell these are no noisier than the OEM's which exhibited very little road noise.

Came close to getting these yesterday for my wife's Acadia. Have heard a lot of really good things about them but ultimately went with pirelli scorpion as plus 3. Judging from all the reviews i would imagine that you'll be happy with them!

I've never run these on a truck, but ran these on a car and they were fantastic in all conditions.

I've never had anything bad to say about any set of Michelin tires I've owned. My bet is that you'll be happy with the new purchase.

I put those on my wife's 20 Escape. They are well worth the money. Since they are a directional tire there is no more crisscrossing when you rotate, just front to back. Make sure when you get them rotated to look at the arrow on the sidewall so they are facing correctly.

I have the exact tires on mine (just a few hundred miles so far). I'm also in the summer Florida rainbelt haha. These tires are awesome! I don't think I would hydroplane if I crossed a river!.. Great ride and great traction!

I stayed with the OEM size. 265/60 18
Don't make them in a size to fit my truck. Need 265-65-17. Don't want to go down in diameter. Otherwise they look interesting, as I do basically zero off-roading.

Have them on a RAV4...also had very similar tread design with a set of Antares tires. Excellent in the rain and wet cold roads. Next best thing to a winter tire.

May well do that. I did get them at my local Discount Tire store.
