Hey guys! Just picked this slightly used (12k mile, Feb '19 start of lease) Lariat FX4. Reading a lot of good things about this truck. Hopefully it stays that way! Ha! I traded in my '17 Focus RS - I had a hard time dailying that thing, putting 60 miles a day on it. I've got a few questions but I'll put those in the proper threads.

Not yet. I plan to order it in December or January with the hope that it will be delivered in April. The wait will be agonizing! I noticed you were from the med city also!

I'm new here. My 3rd Ranger is the 2004 XLT extended cab, 4x4, 4.0, stick, only 90k miles. Prior were 1989 STX and 1993 XL, all ext cab, all 4x4, all white, all stick. Before that I had an '83 Courier, hard to believe. Butterscotch color
Looking for a 2019 to order or dealer find. Lariat, and I'm pretty fussy about options. Unfortunately this will be my first truck without stick. I'm wondering if I order, will I get a 2020? And about the price and rebates if/when delivered. So maybe a dealer find close to what I want might be better option? Retired from a Ford supplier so I can still get x plan.
I go to Dearborn quite often to consult at the steel plant inside the Rouge site. This visit I took a side trip to the Wayne home of the Ranger and saw my new truck, unfortunately it was in the employee lot!

Hello all, Jeff here. About a month ago my family vacationed in Virginia Beach for a week. On the way home to Michigan while my wife was driving her Taurus, I told here to get off in Oregon Ohio so I could check out a new truck that I was Googling along the route. She asked when I thought about buying a new truck, and I said over the past few hours.

So, a week later, I took delivery of a Lighting Blue Lariat with all the goodies. Thanks for all the advice on aftermarket goodies that I have already ordered and installed. This is a retirement truck as in the next year and a half I will call it quits. It has been very fun to drive, just trying to wash this and keep off the water spots is challenging since I have well water.

Had a 1992 Rangers STX and was currently was driving a 2008 XLT Ranger (sold to a co-worker). Paid about 2/3 the price of this truck for my first house in 1981. Yikes!!

Anyways, good to meet all of you and enjoy reading all the posts.

I hear you on the well water...I went with Magnetic Grey myself as it's one of the better looking colors left dirty

If you take the truck to the carwash it ends up with swirls or as you stated spots everywhere with home washing.

Who are you order it though? I got mine a Zumbrota Ford. I was going to order mine, but I couldn't wait! LOL They got mine from NE WI.

I've only seen one other Ranger here, and met one on the way to Lake City last week.

Indeed, I have already spent a silly amount of time looking at goodies, mostly wheels, for a truck I don't even own yet.

New member and new Ranger owner from Canada. Used this forum for 6 months while researching to by the new Ranger. I saw one in the spring and had the itch ever since. Had my Lariat a little over a week and can't wait to drive it every day, even look forward to the drive to work. First truck I have ever owned.
