Hello all, this is Greg from Illinois. I just joined the forum a couple of days ago. I should have posted here first. Anyway, I've got a 2020 ranger xlt with chrome and tow package.
Nice looking truck! Welcome to R5G Greg - we have a bit of fun here.

So, chrome and tow package, huh? Welcome to where all the cool kids hang out - seems like you’ll fit right in.

I told you to stop posting pictures of yourself from 15 years ago and use the most recent ones.

But at least you have the right color Ranger in the picture.

Duke, is it necessary for a man to wear a Hawaiian shirt to be cool?

Yes, absolutely, but it must be a Tommy Bahama knock-off, preferably from Costco.

Unless you’re this guy…

What about getting a shirt from a discontinued line at a fire sale?

2020 Ranger Lariat FX4
Been stalking this forum for about 3 months now, so figured I should introduce myself.

Picked up my new to me 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 in late April with 68,000 miles on the odometer, and got right to modifying. The vehicle was one owner, clean carfax, well maintained, and was Ford Blue certified. Though it wasn't totally free of issues as 3 days after I signed on the dotted line the blend door actuators started clicking. However a nasty review on google and Ford cpo surveys got that taken care of for free.

I have to thank @Wes Siler for educating me on the advantages that the Ranger offered over other vehicles on the market that I was considering. His episode of the Overland Journal podcast, and his articles on the vehicle were a real eyeopener and so far I am blown away by this vehicle.

The truck came with a brand new set of Falken Rubitrek all-terrains in the factory 265/65/17 and those will serve me just fine until I wear them out. I've added an embark LS tonneau that I got for a steal on craigslist, along with a modular bedrack that was also a steal from fb marketplace. Then added a bullepoint mounting solutions rubigrid, and a wireless 6 gang switch panel. I moved over chase lights, awning, and shower ensuite from my previous vehicle. At Overland Expo West I snagged a killer deal on some 9" inch spot/flood combos and mounted them to the grille. Going work up something more stable for off-road use but the are plenty stable on pavement.

The vehicle will sit as is for the mean time until I can finish paying off my wife's Rav4. However the wishlist is the Ford Performance ARB front bumper, Bronco Sasquatch wheels, rock sliders, 33s and a 2" suspension lift.

Welcome Tim, looks like you have been out exploring great photo ops for the Ranger. Glad Ford made it right with the blend door issue.
