Hello Everyone, I just bought my ranger a day ago. I love it. My first vehicle was a 98 Ranger. Hated to let it go. I am glad that the Rangers are back, looking forward to have some fun with this truck.

I’m an admitted fanboy (is that still used) of the Ranger and have owned at least one of each prior generation. I’ve needed a larger truck for the last decade or so and had a F250 crewcab 6.0l. I picked up a used 2009 Canadian truck, but it was run hard and put to bed wet. Local dealer actually had everything I wanted except for the leather seats. The cloth seats are growing on me and if I opt to there is a local shop that does excellent leather work and can get them recovered. I really enjoy this new truck. The 2.3 is a hoot stock and can imagine how much more fun it would be with a tune.

Hi all, Kevin here
Bought the Lariat FX4 after researching, test driving and a lot of back and forth thinking. So far pleased with the truck, need to set it up with liner, cover and window treatment. But this is off the lot at 0% financing. And since this color is discontinued for 2020 must be a collectors item already.

Congrats on the new Ranger Kevin! I did a lot of researching and comparing before I ordered mine as well, so I can relate. After almost 5 months with mine, I can say I wouldn't change a thing. I love the truck and am REALLY happy with the options I chose.

There is a LOT of really good info on the site here - it will take quite a while to digest it all.

Hey,

Just picked up a Lariat FX4 yesterday with 11,000 miles on it. Traded in my 2010 F150 Platinum. So far I'm very happy. Looking forward to reading the forums.

Hello,
I just traded in my 2014 Silverado for a new Lariat on Monday. I love the Lariat, but I do miss the horsepower and Borla exhaust in the Chevy.

New guy here. We just bought a new Ranger on Friday the 13th (of September). We're not into all the technology so we tracked down an LX that has the FX4, the STX package and a Towing Package. Pretty cool truck. We had to drive 250 miles, one way, to get it, but we don't like just buying whatever is close if it doesn't match what we're after.

Traded in our '02 Tacoma that we bought new. It had 177,000 miles and had the factory original clutch (5-speed manual) and the original factory brakes. It was an amazing truck. Pretty high bar to set for our new Ranger.

Thanks for allowing me in the forum. Looking forward to learning a lot from all you folks. Here's some photo's...

What's up y'all. I'm Pat
It's been about 18 years since I owned a ranger until last week. I absolutely love getting back in one. Overland enthusiast and General off-roader. I go to all the overland events. Hope to see some of y'all there.

Man ,its the only thing I will regret, not getting the hot pepper red color. I was so set on getting that specific color but on the lariat fx4 and nothing available around, and while looking for it I ran into a super great deal but I had to sacrifice the color. Dont get me wrong, I love the shadow black color,I think it looks so elegant, but red will be like the girl you liked in high school but never got to date.
Any way ,welcome to the ranger community

Your truck looks great Eric! I've had a couple black F-150's and they're by far my favorite color. Only reason I didn't get a black Ranger is living here in AZ is like living in one big sandbox,it would be impossible to keep it clean.

Howdy all, new member and new Ranger owner as of yesterday.

2019 Ranger SuperCrew Lariat 4x4 FX4 in Lightning Blue with almost all the bells and whistles.

Sticker = $46,430, haggled $4,430 off MSRP, $1,000 “Trade-in assist”, $2,250 “Retail Customer Cash”, and $1,250 “Private Offer Cash” incentives brought it to and haggling, $37,500 sale price. Would liked to have gotten to $37,000 but they did better than expected on my trade, so I am happy with the deal.

Trade was 2015 F150 SuperCrew XLT with very few options and just shy of 59k miles. KBB trade value showed $23,250 for average condition. But considering the “parking incidents” my wife has had (previously estimated at $5,500 in body/paint work), still on it’s original brakes, and about 5000 miles away from needing new tires, I was surprised when they went $18k for the trade.

Here is it is with my F150 behind it just before it was driven away...
