Thank you for the information. My thought was for lengthy travel versus leaving on body, but I see your point.

Do you have a console mount (or similar) holster for your ranger? What are you using? Primary carry is a GLock 43 or Glock 17

Just outside Sacramento. An hour might be a stretch to Lake Tahoe proper, but even with daily traffic either one in less than two hours and on a good day I can get to Tahoe in just over an hour and to the San Pablo Bay in under an hour (at night even quicker).

I moved here in 2000 and have felt a handful of very minor earthquakes (like a slight vibration in the feet if barefoot) and one decent shake that caused me to check the chimney on my 2 story house. I felt a much more powerful quake in Kentucky sometime late 70’s or early 80’s.

The climate is amazing. Low to no humidity, temperature is very mild, no tornado concerns. I do not shovel snow, no need to scrape windshield. If I want to ski, Tahoe is an hour drive, if I want the ocean it is an hour away. If I could get this climate anywhere else I would be out of here.
  8. Well I did it...ordered a 25 RR

AWESOME, I am really interested on the feedback on the Bronco Outerbanks. I drove one as a loaner.

WAY late to this thread. Completed my 8 hour CCW renewal class for California today. 2 hours of live fire and 6 hours of bullshit killing time.
  10. Got the itch to upgrade

If I get a 25 RR it will be Hot Pepper and I will keep the 19 and look for an old ranger (OG) to be painted in the same scheme. Triplets

    The Bronco is horrible.
  12. Wow....

Did not realize the cops (expenables) had recliners in their patrol cars. FYI for non law enforcement/fire fighter folks, this is just banter. If the shit hits the fan I have their back and know they have mine. I have nothing but respect for the folks in blue.

One thing I noticed on my Bronco Sport loaner was an amazing rear view camera when in reverse. I am an old school fire fighter and still look in mirrors and over my shoulder but, wow the image in the rear view camera was impressive.
  14. Wow....

Yes, we called those folks the expendables.
  15. Wow....

Yes, and some passed and others are cops.

It is paid off, paid cash at purchase. Will pay cash if I purchase new. I have the 2019 Hot Pepper Red (In my avatar) I get constant comments on the color of the truck.
  17. Got the itch to upgrade

I have a 2019 Lariet with 96+K miles (12 miles when I bought) and am looking at the 2025. I have had very few issues (worst being the hose dropping into the fan at 75 mph dropping me to 15 mph instantly) and the few issues all covered by warranty. Had a poor experience with Citrus Ford in...
  18. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

In the last week Ford replaced EGR cooler and transmission heater/coolant valve in southern california (check engine light came on during 6 hour trip from Sacramento to LA) it took 12 days at Citrus Ford (DO NOT RECCOMEND) to replace those two parts. I picked up the truck when completed and...
  19. 2020 Ranger EGR Cooler Issue

My truck now runs as brand new with over 96k miles. A simple DPFE valve chane makes a world of difference,
