Hi all. I bought my first Ranger last April. It is a 2021 Lariat 4x4 in cactus grey with the black appearance package. I bought it to tow on all 4’s behind my RV. I did that over the summer and towed it 3400 miles. It was great and met all my expectations. I needed the bed to load my bike and the 4wd so I could tow it behind my rv. Ford makes that so easy and nothing under the hood to disconnect in order to tow it. The 4wd also gave me the option to explore the back roads in my travels Which gave me a ton of confidence that I was not going to get stuck anywhere.
Welcome, what do you have for an RV?

Congrats on the Ranger it looks great. The st looks good too. An absolutely fun car. It is a shame Ford chose not to sell them here anymore.
Thank you very much, for a fwd hot hatch its been fantasticly fun, and with the help of a few tweaks here and there it's really gone up a level or two in performance, for now the ST can be the project car while the Ranger can be my reliable robin. You're right it's a shame they don't have them in the US anymore, but to be honest I can't say I miss the latest gen ST, the mk4 looks like a cheap copy of a Mazda 3 IMO

Welcome, great pair of rides you got! :)
Much appreciated, coming from someone with that nitrous blue RS thats high praise, clearly you have exquisite taste ?

I auto-xed a few STs before the RS was announced. Loved them, but after years in a FWD Civic I was looking toward RWD or AWD for my next Auto-x car. Loving hatchback and having a budget I was feeling limited to a used ~2012 STI or a Golf R, then Ford announced the RS. I had my deposit for my at sticker a few days before the order banks opened in Oct of 2015. And I'm thankful to every buyer of the ST (Focus and Fiesta) because without strong sales of those in NA I doubt the mk3 Focus RS would have been sold here.

Howdy everyone,

I'm new to these streets! I just picked up Puddin' a couple weeks back. My first vehicle purchase like a big boi ? I've always had Jeeps until now-- destiny sort of led me to this beauty. I ain't doing any hardcore trucking, but I am excited to see how she handles the ever-intensifying weather of Michigan. Ya'll have some beauties-- I am fixated on looking at all the mods. Never had any interest in it, and know nothing about vehicles, but I am happy to meet you fine folks!! Much love ^.^

I was daily driving my 2013 FOST when Ford announced the RS for the US market. Like you I placed my order as soon as they opened on 10/14/15 I think.

Welcome Dommy,

There are lots of folks on here to help you make the move from Jeeps to a Ranger. I’m just across the way in Toronto - your truck’s going to be fine in MI winters - just ask all the Yoopers on here.

Positive thoughts going out to your community during this tough time.

That's awesome, I can understand that transition completely, for the short time it was here it was certainly a gem in the hothatch market. Even after having my ST a few years and fiddling with it I know I'd still get spanked by any RS, but I still love it all the same ?

If you had a 2013 then you must have been the proud owner of the catfish, I salute you sir

   Yep. Tangerine Scream Catfish. A fun ride. A 91 octane tune and an induction added to the fun. Even the torque steer added to the fun. If you mash the go pedal you better have a good grip on that wheel.

Even with all the enhancements that the RS has and almost no torque steer, the ST still ranks pretty high on my fun car scale.:)

I could not agree more, we had a 13 ST with a Steeda CAI and 93 tune, an MBRP cat back, changed the aft motor mount as well. That car was great and it embarrassed many German and Japanese cars all while getting in the upper 20’s for mileage.

I have a 2018 Coachman Leprechaun. It is a 27 ft class c. I was towing a 2013 Honda crv but wanted the ability to go off road a bit so that is why I went with the Ranger. I really love this truck.
Well enjoy we hope to be out on the road with ours in a year and a half when I retire. Unless the 22 Bronco we ordered makes it here first.

what a beaut, thats looks like the most quintessential ST to ever ST  I havent done much with power upgrades yet myself, everything so far has been handling centric, but I'm excited to put more work into her while she gets a break from all the winter weather this year

True. Now that you mention it, I have had the tendency to buy the color that is the flagship for a particular vehicle. Tangerine scream Focus ST, Nitrous blue Focus RS, Fighter Jet Grey Mustang Mach 1. I broke the pattern with the Ranger, I think the flagship Ranger in 2019 was the Saber color. I narrowed my choice down to Saber or Lightning Blue, but blue won out. Rangers look good no matter what color. I am sure I would be happy with Saber if that is what I had chosen.
