Hi Max,

2001 Range, Eh? Back when I had the knobs and controls for Ranger! Happy that you like your 2019 Ranger!

Yeah, the poor old thing was bought as a refurbished salvage. The 4.0 runs like a top. Was getting almost 22 mph on the highway with it. Body started showing its abuse after several years. Apparently it was in a rollover. Anyway, the kid at the Ford dealership bought it outright from me. He's tickled with it. But I can't say enough about how happy I am with my 2019. Never was brand loyal before, but I'm a convert now! My brother has a 2000 Ranger XLT. He's green with envy.

Hey everyone! I just brought home a new 2020 Ranger XLT last week, and I am loving it. A big change coming from a Focus ST, but I guess I was ready to grow up (or so the wife tells me!). :) Look closely and you'll see my goofy daughter, who also loves the new truck.

Hey hey, I just got a '19 FX4 supercrew. Third truck, grown up with Fords (my mom's worked almost exclusively at Ford dealerships as far back as I can remember). Also used to drive:
  • a '03 Focus w/a turbo tom halfass special (it was pretty fast, but IYKYK). Tuned by Randy @ Mountune nee FocusSport
  • a '14 Fiesta ST - never did anything with it and eventually traded it in for an Audi Q5 (long story...)
Going to wait to do anything to it until things chill w/COVID-19 and all, but planning to get a lift or level kit with some wheels etc. I've got some ideas but haven't decided yet. I keep it in a parking garage here in SF so I have to plan carefully...

Hi all! Names Brandon, from the Idaho Panhandle /PNW region. I just wanted to say a quick hello. Last week I got a new 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 with the 501A, White Platinum. I'll try to get a pic soon.

Super excited! Grew up with Fords, so I'm very familiar with 'em. This is my first though (last few vehicles have been Dodge/Jeep).

Lastly just wanted to add that I'm loving the threads so far, like the community feel/discussions.

See ya out there!

Hello all. My dad and I just placed deposits on Rangers at the same dealership. He's 78 years old looking to buy his first truck in years and I'm 52 buying my first truck ever because I'm use to borrowing his!

He has a FX4 XLT silver with chrome appearance package and I have a FX4 black with black appearance package. We pick them up on May 16th.

We are both from Central New York and will putting the trucks to work and play. Looking forward to some fire road journeys up at our camp

Hello everyone. I actually joined up last week when asking a question about purchasing out of state. I finally came home with my new Ranger yesterday after a beautiful and meandering road trip from the Denver area of Colorado back to San Diego. Put over 1,200 miles on it in a few days. I plan on participating more here.

Needless to say I'm a Ford fan. Here is my new Ranger and my 2016 Mustang that I hope to tow to the track now instead of drive. It's a pain to pack up a set of track wheels, jack, tools, chairs, canopy, and etc. in the car when going to the track.

Hi all, Guess I am new even though I have already started posting in a few of the other sections before here. Anyway happy to be here and hope to help out the community as best I can as I can.

Anyway, Guess I should mention what I have. I just got my Ranger last Saturday off the showroom floor. Went from a 2008 GTI to this. Let me tell you, that was a heck of a change. It's a Lariat, the 501A pack, towing pkg, locking diff, and step rails. I was going to post a pic of it on the show room floor from the day I bought it but decided not to. I'll try to get a good picture of it soon.

Let's see what all has been done to it so far. I have installed the 5 Star Tuning 93 octane tune via Bully Dog BDX, K&N drop in, Gator tri-fold tonneau cover, upgraded license plate, mirror, side marker, puddle lights, and front turn signal lights to LED's.

Upcoming upgrades and mods are probably adding a catch can, billet pedals (mostly cause the brake pedal makes a squeak sound against my boot), 2" front leveling kit, and possibly bumpers

Hello all! My name is mike, i just purchased a new 2019 Xlt sport 4wd crew in shadow black last week and just found this site. So much great info here i had to join! I have owned fords my whole life, but this is the first brand new vehicle i have ever purchased. My other 2 fords i currently own are 62 galaxie hardtops. One is finished, the other is a project car. I bought this truck because me and my wife do a lot of kayaking and like camping. I also needed a truck to pull my 16ft aluminum fishing/hunting boat. I also needed a vehicle good on gas, as i have a 50 miles round trip to work. This truck fit the bill to a "T"

Hi everyone. Steve from Michigan here. Just bought a 20 Supercrew 4x4 XLT Sport in Shadow Black. This is the 3rd Ranger I've owned. Rangers are actually the only non Jeep/FCA product I have ever owned and this new one is something else. Absolutely beautiful. Cant wait to get her out on the trails and to have some fun mod'n her a bit.

Here are a few pics. Id also like to paint the tow hooks and brake calipers the same as the grill letters. Another little project to occupy my time

Just wanted to chime in since you're the only member i've spotted so far that has the same tonneau cover. If you step up to the Yakima system then you can have quite a bit of extra storage using the available slot in the tonneau rails. We also have some attachments for lumber and tiedowns as well.

500 lbs on the rails will get you pretty far if you fill the bed!

Hello my name is John. I haven’t had a truck since 1995. It was a 1991 GMC Sonoma with a 4.3L V-6. I loved that truck, but when kids started coming along I spent the next 25 years with commuter cars because I always seemed to have a long drive where ever we were stationed. The wife had the “bigger” vehicle (minivan and 2 SUVs) for chauffeuring kids around especially to sports. Anyway, with kids out of house and coming up on retirement in the next 2 years I figured it was time for me to get what I wanted. I don’t really need a full-size truck so I ventured into the midsize arena. Narrowed it down to the Ranger and Tacoma and then after a test drive, there was no doubt I was getting a Ranger. Had it since December and love it so far! I found this forum when I was researching Tonneau-Covers. Settled on the TruXedo Pro X15 and installed it last weekend. Now I’m looking at mud flaps and floor liners. I have been looking at Husky for both, WeatherBeater for the liners. Any recommendations good or bad? What to stay away from. Also looking at a hitch step. Considering WeatherTech for it, because there are a lot of hitch steps in that price range and that seems like the better option. Thanks.

We installed the weather tech "no drill" mudflaps and they are very comprehensive and fit extremely well. They also provide paint protection film so it's truly a "no scuff" solution.

We also have their floormats and the fit is superb. Essentially zero gap anywhere and they collect 99.9% of debris. The only gripe on the all-weather floor mats is that they don't get "new" looking when cleaning. Their rugged construction and texture makes it look like there will be a little stain of dirt in the areas which see the most dirt. A small gripe for the protection they offer.
