New Driver Side Door Arm Rest Riser

$10, this thing mostly remedies a problem I have on long trips. The lower door armrest - the one with power window controls - is too low for me when my left hand is on the steering wheel. The top of the door panel, under the window, is too high. I end up going back and forth between both uncomfortable positions.

This cheap thing adheres to the arm rest and provides a lightly padded riser, which for me is perfect for casually keeping my left hand on the wheel. The top piece actually slides forward a few inches. If you pull the top, the whole thing is a compartment that easily fits sunglasses, your devil’s lettuce, switchblade knife, etc. So far, it has stayed put. I put it snug against the door panel.

Here it is in my truck. Kicking myself for dozens of roadtrip hours without it.

I have the exact same one, it was a big improvement until the summer heat finally killed the adhesive. Good thing is, it didn't leave any real residue when I removed it.

You're a great salesman! I've had the same issue with my elbow. I just bought style #2. It's only 2" instead of three. I'll update with a review after I get it. Thanks for the heads up!

Maybe because I'm shorter but I've never found the door rest to be a problem. But I do drive with my left arm up high (12 o'clock) on the wheel and rest my right elbow on the center console. The console is very thin and always bothered my elbow until I bought one of these. Had it for 7 years now and still works great.

I'm left handed and drive like Dad and Grandpa, both right handed lol.
Left hand at 12 o clock on the steering wheel and right elbow on the center console and right hand resting on top of the shifter.

I just use a Fosters can of beer with double sided tape... and can always open in case of emergency thirst situation...

I started to fret over the possibility, what sort of thicker double sided tape to replace it with, stencil the shape, cut… then I remembered the damn thing is only $10. I could re buy the whole thing again!

Seriously, I wonder what the premium double sided tape solution might be, if the summer heat foils me. 3M product? If it costs more than $10 I’ll be pissed, lol.

That's too fancy. Couple of drywall screws and some J-B Weld oughta do the trick.

Drywall screws are so "ordinary". I would use some nice stainless steel decking screws.......

UPDATE!!!!!! Style #2 doesn't fit our armrests! It over an inch longer and a bit wider. Stick with style #1.
