I never thought of this. You are correct, there really is no comfortable spot on a long trip. I wasn't sure which height to get but at that price, both seemed like a good plan. Arriving today 5:15 PM - 7:15 PM

Well, mine just arrived so I gave them a quick look. 3" is a good fit on the drivers side. Every bit as nice as @lazynorse said. The 2" tall is a little large (and shape is wrong) to fit the drivers side but is a perfect fit for the passengers door. It also comes with 2 pairs of risers to adjust the height, nice touch. Top does not slide like the 3".

Mine arrived today. Installed it and seems perfect for my longer drives.

I just tried the 2" in my Jeep. It will work great there. Waiting for it to warm up a bit but every bit as much an improvement as the Ranger. It will need a bit of 2 sided tape on the back to the door panel.

this is perfect for me. i almost always drive with my left hand, and right arm resting on the center console and hand on the shifter, even around town. i thought it looked like, when installed, that it was recessed too far back to be able to remove the top to access the storage area, but it does come up and out. an extra 1/4 inch of padding would have been nice, but for 10 bucks its a nice little item for my needs.
