Yes, I was astounded when I saw a Super Duty cab being yanked to work on an ambulance chassis-cab configuration motor years ago.The same thinking they have when it's necessary to remove the entire cab to repair some of the diesel F250/F350's.
Ford's not the only one, in order to remove the automatic transmission on my lowly '02 Honda CR-V, the entire K subframe must be removed from the vehicle...
