I live in a rural area and everyone helps everyone, it is different from the City. It is like the old days.No , first you need to find a place to fish, and wait for him to almost freeze. Then pull him out, after he signs the liability waivers and so forth. ?
However, its sad that RP has a point, just trying to help people these days can get you in alot of trouble.
I was concerned about damaged to their undercarriage and warned them several times and I let him rig the strap underneath.
it was best hooking up to the front and watching them, just because of the situation and I am glad I did. In other situations I would prefer using the rear.
The only shackle we used was a soft shackle.
If this was a stranger, I likely would not have done it, unless it was an emergency, or if they had something designed to hook to.
