Stopped by and kicked the tires on a new Badlands package today. It had the 4 banger with the 6 speed manual. Overall I really liked it. Not so much the color, nor the 15k over book. For sure I'll buy a new Bronco, but I'll wait until these mature and the dealerships drop the markup. They didn't have a six banger in stock, so that would be the next I would like to drive.

Bawaaa true Dat. It's not bad just not for me. Wonder if this color would hide the off road brush contact like white would? Some one with Saber speak up please, ?
There's a reason I ordered my Jeep in white....To hide the scratches. ?

The first one I test drove was similar to this one, I wasn't impressed with the 2.3 in the Bronco. The second one which we took off road with the 2.7 was much better and a definite must have! If you can wait 4 years for one. lol

Yup I agree the gearing really limited the 2.3 even with the turbo. Felt like I really had to step on the pedal when I pulled out in traffic. I get it, all setup for off road but it really took me by surprise how sluggish it felt. Hate to say that because I love this engine in the Ranger. However, for 70k I wouldn't settle for the 4 banger.

They should be sending all the broncos up north. Winter is coming :)

Every time I play with the configurator I go 'wow, I am not the target demographic for this' as the MSRP adds up :p

$70K, That's insane!

My fully loaded 2dr Badlands was $46K but that was at invoice pricing and an additional $2K off that. I agree I love the 2.3 with our Rangers but it was gutless with the Sasquatch gearing. The one I test drove was a 10 speed auto so I'm surprised the 6 speed felt that way too.

Anyone who overpays for this needs their head examined.
Agreed!! Thank you but no thank you, hell that's pushing Raptor territory or platinum level f150. I love what I see in the potential of the Bronco, but Ford in my opinion is letting this slip away from them and killing brand loyalty. Just my .2cents, lol.

Lmao your right about used, it had 480 miles on the odometer. Not only that if I had bought it today they told me that I couldn't take delivery until Jan.
The dealers have to hold onto these mannequins for 6 months before they can sell them. With everyone test driving them they don't get the proper break in. I know I was stepping on it when I test drove it. I wouldn't feel comfortable buying one of these never mind overpaying for it to boot. ?

You're spot on! I made a thread on this here but the powers above closed it down.
