took it about 10-15 miles on public roads. no issues. also flipped my hitch and she is almost perfectly level

got my premilm temp tag for registration. CHP needs to sign off on it. one step closer. hopefully chp will not give me a hard time. here is a sneak peak of the heater setup. it's bolted to the step so it can't get knocked over.

So it IS possible!!! Makes me wonder why my buddy couldn’t get his registered?!

That’s awesome! I’m definitely going to start seriously shopping around for one.

CHP shouldn’t give you any hassle. I’ve taken a few trailers in for inspections and they’ve always signed off on them. As long as it’s not a home built trailer, they shouldn’t have any issue with it.

well the other side might be covered by our annex. so it would be just this side but if we decide not to use the annex then yes I could mount something there. This is just phase 1. the fun stuff comes in the next phase where I add a fresh water tank, pump, 48v lithium ion battery, trailer lights, integrate the heater into a permanent spot, propane tank holder etc...

I just showed up with a Bill of Sale and invoice showing what I paid. if your close to moval maybe come out this was to my DMV

small update. mounted a 270 degree ovs awning.

works well and can operate without any upright polls for support. looks solid enough and hinge looks beefy. hopefully it lasts

good news chp signed off so I now have my permanent tag for it. The officer mentioned he has been seeing more of these trailers pop up so good luck to others getting them registered. I will keep my DMV paper work just in case anyone needs a blueprint on how to try and get it registered
