I just got back from picking up my plates and addressed this with the manager while I was there, he went to the parts dept and ordered them on the spot, should be in next week.

I picked up my 2020 Lariat Crew yesterday and it only has four. I asked the dealer about the other two and he is supposed to be checking with his parts guy. It did not sound promising. I am looking for somewhere in the Ford site for info that says it comes with 6 and cannot find anything. If anyone can help me with that I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I would hope all dealerships will be backed up by Ford and offer the missing 2 free of charge, after all this is a pickup truck with a bed, and tie downs are essential and should not have to be ordered as an after thought or a special package option? If they want this new Ranger to take off sales wise they have to step up buyer owner lessor customer services. I will be in contact with my dealer in PS about this.

I would gather info from the others in this forum and present it to dealer and/or write to Ford customer service directly about this. They want this new Ranger to give Taco a run for this money so they have to prove it to all the new owners.

My dealer (Mike Murphy Ford of Morton, Il) just sent me an email telling me they have ordered my two missing brackets and will contact me when they are in. I shared some of the posts on here in order to convince them that the brackets were missing.

My bed is covered with the plastic bed liner and has the rubber covers over the tie downs. I'll have to head out to the garage to take a look under them to make sure I have all my tie downs.

Thanks. I did finally see it in the 2019 Brochure. I will look for the 2020 brochure.

Additionally the 2019 specs on ford.com say six.

I have four and the salesman said that is all they come with. Then, thanks to a thread like this on this forum, someone pointed out the brochure. I sent him the brochure and he checked the Rangers on the lot and told me some had four but others had six. He did not have an explanation but said he will get me two more. They are in and I will get them in a few days.

Those of you with the spray in bedliner-there is a reference to a "tap" needed to install the hooks. Could you please elaborate on this?

You can't thread a bolt into a hole that has bed liner sprayed into it. And there is no easier, quicker or better way that I am aware of to clean that bed liner material out than by using a tap.

I have one of the last 2019 (build date 11/11) and it only has 4. Stopped by the dealer and no questions asked they ordered 2 for me.

The part #'s are back on page 3.
