Bed tie downs

Has anyone moved or attached new tie downs in the rear of the bed? I can't hardly reach the factory loication.

I had some leftover Ratchet strap that I leave looped in mine. I plan to lengthen the ones in the mid and front of the bed and velcro them up near the bed top so I can reach in without crawling in.

The eyebolts were from Amazon here is a link to the company but you must verify the diameter thread size and threads per inch or MM to fit your truck threaded holes I think 8 MM but check.
I took a bolt from the existing tiedown to hardware store and got size and thread pitch off their gauge.

Hi Folks,

Just installed a few minutes ago. Threads in the location shown for upper and lower hole are M8x1.25. Had to drill out one hole caked with spray-in liner using a 17/64 drill bit before I could clean up the hole with my M8x1.25 tap.

Why 5...well...they are Metric...you get 5s and 10s right instead of 6s and 12s, maybe?

Metric reasoning - I like that !

With 5 if we only use 4, then we have a hot spare. Brilliant !
