I have had similar problems but more severe. They chewed through the cabin air filter. Left messes within. But the worst is they chewed through the crank position sensor wires causing the truck to go into backup engine mode ( no turbo, retarded timing).
Next came the fuel line. Lit up the truck to the smell of gas. Immediately shut it down. A month to get parts. Basically any plastics that use soy oil they very much enjoy. I wish Ford did a better job of sealing the cab. They get in through the vent openings under the wiper valance. I have numerous photos if anyone wished.
