I am interested in finding out what brand and model these lug nuts are if anybody recognizes them? They came with the upgraded wheel and tire set that I purchased from a private party. The brand is not stamped on them. The only thing the seller said was they are not factory Ford lug nuts and they are longer than the factory ones (1 3/8") They are one piece units. I took them by the Ford Dealer and after a visual inspection said they are good quality and should have no problems.

I am using Gorilla 51137BCB. I did have to paint the lug nut pocket a bit.

Did you ever get a chance to look at the Dorman's?
John, you just cost me $8!?
OK I couldn't help myself after seeing your post this morning. That and Dorman is the likley path I will go for lug-nuts. But I am in no hurry - live in the south, have a complete extra set of Ford nuts, and I am cheap. And plan to keep an eye on the lug nuts for swelling.
So I got one Dorman to see how they look and how it will hold up (not in a hurry). And when I say not in a hurry, I mean years potentially.
So here it is side by side with stock (LH is Dorman, RH is Stock in case its not obvious - it is!)
Chromed 60Âş contact surface could give less friction (issue? this ME has no clue!). Will be interesting to see if the chrome on this surface even lasts.

Quality of the Chrome looks good, lets see if it lasts. Intersting that the the Dorman is threaded deeper.

On the Wheel. I actually like the dull SS finish of the stock over the shiny chrome. And of couse they cover the unpainted surface in the wheel. Do I need to point out which one is Dorman?

So there ya go!
Are they worth the high cost? That's for yall to decide.
D'oh maybe this should be in a new thread called Dorman - Yay or Nay

They look like they have the right surface area. If you're ever in northern Illinois, I'll buy you a beer to make up for the $8!

No details on forged or not, but...
Oh and doesn't list our Ranger, but if you search by Model it brings you to this page
The Dorman part # 611-303.1 lists the 2020 Ranger front/rear

Looks like they fixed their Web page as they show all yrs (2019-21) for 611-303, 611-303.1, and 611-303.40. But the kit with lugs and wheel locks, 611-303FK, only fits 2019-20.?
I had not noticed the kit before, actually gives you the correct count for our trucks! But you get locks whether you want them or not. ~$80 per set

Yes, I just ordered the 611-303 set. $90 and change with shipping but I get 40 lug nuts. I may be able to sell my extras.

Installed my new Dorman lug nuts this morning. They look exactly as the original 2-piece lugs but shinier. Fingers crossed they don’t rust. ??

While working on my truck a couple of weekends ago, and having a miserable situation with my rear brakes, I also spun one of the awesome Ford 2-piece lug nuts. My friend's wife took my credit card to Discount Tire where she was able to source me the lug nuts for roughly $50. They matched them at the counter and had a "kit" in stock. Well worth the money considering what kind of spot I'd be stuck in if that happened on a trail somewhere in the middle of nowhere!

Oh my. Thank you for the pictures. These lug nuts are exactly what I am looking for. I loved the thick hexagonal look the OEM lug nuts had and the Dorman ones look the same but well built. Appreciate it TJ.

Brand?
Part # ?
Unknown. All I know is they looked like the stock lug nuts - just a bit deeper, and came from Discount Tire. They matched it to a stock lug nut.

ETA: They said over the phone they had 'em in stock at the store for my truck ranging in price from $30 to $90. I don't know what the $30 0nes looked like, but when I asked about the upper end of the cost, he said they have black, chrome, key'ed, etc..

Anyone know of a proper fitting lug that closely matches the sport rim's charcoal/dark gray/gunmetal look?

...not black

Thanks!
