Took my 2019 in for service and the dealership said they couldn't rotate the tires because the stupid 2pc lugnuts have expanded and they couldn't get them off. Interesting, as I got new tires 2 months previous at a tire shop. Dealer quoted me ~200 for a replacement set and not sure if they are 1 or 2pc style.

So I'm looking for a set of replacement 1pc lugnuts that are still the same size to fit the factory lug wrench. Anyone have a source for QUALITY replacements?

The engineer that approved Ford's lug nut deisgn should be speed slapped into next week. What on earth were they thinking? No matter how careful you are, sooner or later those lug nuts will need replacing. If you use an electric or air gun you'll be replacing those lug nuts even sooner. After a couple of tire rotations hope to high hope you don't have a flat somewhere - removing the lug nuts will be a challenge if you happen to be out in the sticks. They are on Ford's cars and SUVs as well.

Agreed x1

Heaven forbid you or anyone uses an air wrench with a 12 point socket. You will wreck them the first time. You should never use a 12 point socket on any finished lugnut, 2 piece or one piece. The contact area is too small and will damage the finish on even one piece nuts. On two piece the concentrated pressure will deform the thin decorative shell, starting the swelling process.

I have the regular on my stock Lariat alloy wheels....fit was no problem.
Have had them off several times during tire rotation and their still in perfect shape.
As long as the cone shape/angle is the same as the stock, the splined should be just fine.
thanks. i had a couple sets of these on my raptor and liked em. they do tend to rust a bit after a couple years, though, but inexpensive to replace. only thing that concerns me is this review on amazon. not really sure what he's referring to

I tend to look at the # of 4 and 5 star ratings, which are 91%, and then the most recent.
Thjere will always be some that are not happy, received a bad nut or two, ect.
Wouldn't worry about a few bad out of over 1786.

RETIRED!!!!
I bought some from Amazon that were recommended here. The cone was the right angle, but wasn't as wide as the factory ones. Didn't feel confident with using them so I sent them back. Might try the McGard even though they are more expensive.

OK, I see the width difference between the set I have against the splined set, and yes, splined set is 2 mm smaller in width.....
May have to go with the No No on the review, but I have no first hand knowledge.
Do you need the splined ???
I see from your avatar your in Oz.....does that mean you have bands of Munchkins running around stealing wheels ???
