Unfortunately my biggest one is the rear seats headrest fold.. I literally hardly ever have anyone sitting back there and the headrest takes up half the damn back window?

I hated that too!.....I bought the folding headrests and I highly recommend it as it makes a world of difference being about to see out the rear window!

Here's the thread I posted....check out post #45....I also included a pic...... Loving my new Lariat Tremor & Modding it up already! | Page 3 | 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation) - Ranger5G.com

Here's a summary.....
the latest thing I have done was order the folding headrests for the rear seat. The existing headrests DO NOT fold and they block most of the rear window. I ordered just the actual headrest and it comes WITHOUT the cover and costs around $100 each depending on where you buy them.

(Right) Headrest, Outer - Ford (FU5Z-78611A08-AC)
(Left) Headrest, Outer - Ford (FU5Z-78611A09-AC)

I re-used the existing headrest covers which fit VERY tight and DO NOT have the cut out for the side "push button" that you use to fold the headrest down. I actually like not having the exposed button as it looks "cleaner" with the button hidden. It still functions exactly as designed without the button cut out of the cover! and the replacements covers cost around $125 each and there's no need to buy them as my existing headrest covers fit and match my interior. THESE ARE A GAME CHANGER for me as I can see so much better out the rear window.

The front fender deal? Are you saying the '19-'early '21 had steel or aluminum? Mine's a late '21 build and has steel fenders.

It does, however, have an aluminum hood and tail gate. It seems like all the other body parts are steel.

There's a bunch of things my late '21 build doesn't have, but at least I do have hood struts :)

Life saver … thank you times a million. Really appreciate you on all this info! I will look into this and see if I can make this work … I hate how high they sit and no way to see out the window.

Why would you need the folding headrests, honestly? I can see absolutely fine out of my rear window, with my rear headrests sticking up...

I vigorously use these 2 things mounted on the outside of the front 2 doors and this center one on the inside of the windshield, I believe they're called "mirrors" :p

Seriously though, It wouldn't been a nice option if they had rear headrests that popped up out of the seat or something, if they were needed?

I'm not too worried about some of the things my September built 2021 XLT doesn't have. I've added a few things back, like the front tow hooks, but really, nothing is bothered me. I did order an engine cover, because it looked incomplete without it...

yeah, no folding rear headrests is just plain lame!...it's so hard to see out the back window because like you said, they block most of the rear window......I guess I could just take them out but then where do you store them?!......buying the folding headrests was a no brainer for me......I just had to do a little "research" first......I actually went to a local dealership that had a 2019 Ranger Lariat and swapped headrests to make sure they fit (the sales guy was nervous and kinda thought I wanted to steal them...I gave him $20 for his trouble....LOL).....I didn't know the new headrests didn't come with the covers until they arrived at the local dealership parts dept. The parts guy double checked and the fine print on the computer stated it doesn't come with the crazy expensive covers......he actually helped me take off my existing covers and put them on the new headrests.......the fit VERY tight but work perfect and of course match my interior....I like that the button "hole" isn't cut out on my covers as it looks "cleaner".......it costs me $225 I believe from my local dealer but thank goodness he helped me swap out the covers........I'm so happy I did this mod and it makes it amazing to be able to see out the back.......especially in So CA traffic!!

not that it matters, but I have hood prop rods....LOL......but still NO DAMPENER!...LOL

I use my side mirrors and rearview mirror and back-up camera all the time.....but driving in So CA is like driving in a war zone sometimes......you got the hot rodders driving their BMW's and Mercedes and Land Rovers going 90MPH and switching lanes without using their blinkers.......and of course don't forget the soccer moms driving their Escalades drinking Starbucks and texting while driving.......and the Prius drivers doing 52 mph in the fast lane not worried about the 47 cars behind them slowing up traffic.............having folding rear headrests just makes it easier to SEE and navigate the craziness on a daily basis.....

none of the other "deleted" items bother me.......just loving my 2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor!....(But glad it came with hood pop rods when I'm admiring the foam engine cover I had to buy to look "cool" when I check the oil every month...:sunglasses::crackup:

Aluminum front fenders now steel for 2022. It may have been a "secret" switchover sometime in 2021 so you'll have to do a magnet test if you're curious.
I am kinda of ok with this one. Heavier but this one doesnt bother me

Slide the dang things out and stow them behind the seat like I do.

Power fold mirrors were removed on 302A for 2022. You have a 2021 so it still has them.
I don't have first hand knowledge of the "22'S" yet.
Not saying I don't believe you.

Dates in the OP might be helpful (some have that) for MY change. Strange how some things are changed mid year, for whatever reason.

Did someone also mention that the rear diff originally had both a drain and fill plug and later just one plug ?

Is there still time for Ford to remove more stuff before 5g production ends ? Need to stay tuned to this site for all the latest developments.

Question on This agenda. Currently I keep some of the cleaning items back there and some reusable bags for pups and all, but don’t you find the space quite small ? Do they fit ok and the bench closes well?
