I should mention the price was 450 plus 150 for UV protection. Same shop just over a year ago quoted me 450 plus 50 for a 6'9" bed on a GMC Sierra 2500, seems like someone trying to cut themselves a fat hog at Line X of Reno.
I just paid nearly $700 with tax for my Line-X premium (with UV) in Reading, PA. The quote was $525.00 standard liner, $654 premium liner. I have no issue with the bed liner. I expect it will live up to its hype and still look great when I sell it. Line-X seems to be the hot ticket these days. Including myself, guys are willing to pay those prices given that EVERYONE expresses positive comments about the product.

I paid $1,500 to a guy to install the Modesta ceramic coating to my Mustang. That was 4 years ago now. According to Modesta, it should last 10 years with proper maintenance. That ceramic coating is still going strong. I wouldn’t do that for a truck, but it is an amazing coating which really does work to keep the vehicle cleaner for longer. A good rain on it and from 10 feet it looks like it just had a nice detailing.

Great product is always going to cost as long as it continues to sell!

Just got quotes from the local Line-X and Rhino Liner installers. Line-X quote was $525 for the standard and $99 more for the UV protection. Rhino Liner installer is having a $100 off special and is only $399 for the Rhino Hardline liner.

I think for the price the Rhino Liner is it for me.

I just called a local Bullet Liner installer, and they quoted $450 for the 5' bed. Getting it done in a week. I don't know a lot about liners, but everything I've read/watched/learned about Bullet Liner in the last few days looks pretty great. Fingers crossed it turns out beautiful!

Going with a Pendaliner and putting the $400+ savings towards leather seats. I can get a new Pendaliner every four years of ownership and still come out ahead when I sell the truck in 10 years.

Y'all pay a good chunk of change for spray in liners. Our local shop here does spray in for $375.00. That's Rhino Spray with Lifetime Warranty.

I was happy with the $425 I paid way up here in Maine. $375 is a very good price.

Did the Herculiner myself yesterday and today. Prep took me all of yesterday afternoon. A few points, the green scotch brite pad that comes with the kit to "scuff" the clear coat up so it will adhere is garbage...the only thing it was useful for was to help clean any of the liner off my arms that I managed to splatter on myself while rolling ?. The better the prep the better the final product is what everyone said, therefore I took my time. I used 180 grit sand paper and a ton of elbow grease and a few beers lol. The masking took almost an entire roll. I just finished the 1st coat now need to wait 1-4 hours until its not tacky to hit it with the second coat. Then re-install the tiedown hooks and factory 3 panel hard locking tonneau cover. It says its ready for light use after 18 hours. The kit was $89 bucks at autozone and I also picked up a gallon of acetone which hindsight was a bit to much but at least it was more then not enough!

This is after the first coat. Its super thick. It comes with a brush to hit all the contoured spots that's tough to get with a roller but the roller did better then I expected. Ill post final pics tomorrow. I sanded it all really well with my sander as well as by hand everywhere the sander couldn't catch. I continuously blew it out with my air compressor and after i thought I was done blew it all out good, washed it out with regular dawn dish soap as my car wash soap has a wax additive in it, then let it dry and wiped it all down with acetone. After that was done I hit the spots that were still a bit glossy with more sanding and washed it out and used acetone a last time. Then started to apply. I bought an additional spray can of Herculiner as well for touch ups if I ever need it. So far so good. The application is super simple, its the damn labor of sanding as to why shops can charge 500+. It might be worth it lol but I did it for about 100 bucks and 2 days of labor as we "socially distance".

Got my liner installed today in San Diego. Said they were doing a special on the UV protection. Got that on the bedliner OTD for $516 for a 6 foot bed. I think they call it the “Premium”

Here's the completed back in use pictures of mine, and a few extras. I added the metallic grey inserts in the front to match the tail gate as well as black metallic ones on the passenger dash. Black Nerf bars coming next week as well.

Just curious if you got your Penda and if you have any pics. I was quoted $565 plus tax on a Rhino. Line-X dealer is 1.5 hours away and didn't even return my call ( pre Covid-19 garbage). I can get a Penda for $199. Each has their pro's and cons and I think I'd be happy with either.

Man I'm telling ya, I did the Herculiner myself just for that reason. I called the dealer for linex and they quoted my over 600, then I called the linex place in town and they quoted my 535 and said yeah a dealer just called here for the same vehicle! I bought the kit for 89 bucks at auto zone and put in some prep work and elbow grease and I'm happy with the results! It's all about the prep work my friend.

Yep, couldn't be happier. Identical to the Ford drop in liner except for logo. Took about 15 minutes to install.

Called Line X in Hartford, $550+for basic, 700+ for premium. Local Rhino was 600+. If I want to travel, inconvenient, I might be able to save maybe 50. My last Rhino got washed out by sun, looked kinda grey, but no issues other than that.
