Is there any significant difference between Line-X Standard and Premium? Worth paying for the upgrade to Premium?

Premium has UV protection to help keep that nice glossy dark black look.

Consider Bullet Liner if there's one in your area.
Already comes with the UV protection.
Bullet was started by the guy who originally started Line-X. He left the company, and using a different formula, started Bullet.
I have the Bullet...only 1 1/2 years, but still looks brand new.

If you have any kind of cover on your bed it's not worth it. The only difference is UV protection.

Good to see you back Brett!

You could always spray the standard Lin-X with some 303 Aerospace Protectant for the UV protection too.

I've been lurking here and there ?.... my last assignment at work had me sitting at a desk all day (lots of time for forum browsing) but since the beginning of the summer I've been running around alot and hardly had any down time in front of the computer. (I find scrolling the forum a bit annoying from the phone)

Glad everything is ok and hope to see you around more. I too took a break from here for a while and needed to get a lot of stuff done and clear my head of some things. I'm the same I don't like using my phone for the forum or really doing much online. Old (er) eyes don't help much either. lol

My dealer gave me the premium for the same price as standard because I was also buying some other stuff from them. But, my bed is usually dusty from use and I also have a tonneau, which keeps the bed covered when not in use. Unless you expect your bed to get little use and is routinely exposed to the sun, the premium isn’t worth the additional cost.

I had Line-X on my 2001 Dakota that I traded for the Ranger in 2021.

Other than it getting dull it held up just fine for 20 years. Don't have a good picture of just the bed. Here is one with the hemi I am using in my Speedstar hot rod.

FWIW, the place that did the Line-X is gone and it was over an hours drive to the nearest one. The local place did Bullet Liner so that is what the Ranger has.
