Leveling Kit Spring Spacer Location??

Ok, now that I learned my lesson about thread titling......thanks Rob!!

My question is what is the difference/advantage to having a spring perch spacer as opposed to a spacer at the upper end of the spring?
SVC collars vs. most other spring spacers?

I asked this very question of SVC Off-road through their website. I’ll leave the responders name off.

“Our CAS system goes over the strut and replace the factory spring perch with and infinitely adjustable perch that is one solid machined piece.
When you add a spacer to the top of the shock mount you change the geometry of the suspension in an ill advised manner. We have seen these type of lifts break. We believe that adding preload to the coil is the proper way to add height to the front of your Ranger. Let me know if you have any other questions.
