The Auxitos are just a tad brighter than the Hikari Ultra. I haven't re aimed the headlights and I've been flashed a few times. I'm not too concerned with aiming them though. I use the Hikari Ultra in the fog lamp position.

As a side note, as anyone seen the Auxito blink in unison occasionally ? Both bulbs do it so I'm assuming it's not bulb related, maybe canbus ?

When do they blink? I have the Hikari Ultras (which I'm so far happy with, though the Auxitos sound a bit better), and they do blink when auto-start-stop restarts the engine. I've never had them blink randomly, though.

They blink randomly...mainly while driving, but sometimes while sitting at a stop light with engine on

I wonder if the way they draw current is different than the Hikaris in some way that occasionally confuses the system (possibly they draw less current for example). I didn't need to use resistor modules with the Hikaris, but maybe they're needed for the Auxitos ??

The left headlight bulb was doing that with my CarRover bulbs. The passenger low and fogs were fine. Because it took about a month to start doing that I figured that the bulb driver was starting to go.

Installed the Auxito H11 bulbs in the headlamps. I haven't adjusted them at all but I'm thinking it's going to have to happen eventually. I definitely like the output and color temperature. The dust caps barely fit with a slight amount of pressure.

CarRover made me a deal to try out a new set of bulbs they just came out with. I'm super impressed. They are in the 1:1 format (no extra box). I was initially skeptical about how well they would work due to the lack of being able to rotate them, but I guess I was wrong. Holy crap are they good! Nice focused tight beam. They installed super easy and clear the dust caps with ease. They are also really quiet. I couldn't hear them with the dust caps off! I think you guys will be really impressed as well. The only downside (and it's not really one) is they I'm going to have to aim my lights again. I had to turn down the headlights due to the old LEDs, but these are going to have to go back up. Probably back to where the halogens were by the looks of things. Here's a link if you want to check them out:

Pictures of the beam pattern. First picture showes the new bulb on the driver's side and the original CarRover bulb in the passenger side. Second image has both new bulbs installed.

Aimed them tonight. Unless they burn out prematurely, I'll be keeping these for a while!

Well, had a bulb failure tonight. Not even a week after installing these. Luckily I had the forethought to keep my stock bulbs in the truck so swapping back was no big deal on the side of the road. I'm hoping I'll be able to return these because I know the fans cleared and we're running properly.

The wire casing melted. Fortunately the housing/dust cap stayed in tact. There's bits of whatever electronic debris (LED chip board fried) in the housing but that will clear out with a quick shot of an air hose.

but with the fans being inside an enclosure, how much are they really helping? That’s my thought.
