Unfortunately, SCT's support for tire size adjustment is usually at the device level, and a custom tune will not likely be able to help, unless it's only certain strategies that SCT hasn't cracked yet.

I shot 5-Star an email about the nGauge, though. I'll let you know what they say.
I meant to quote you in post #13. Can you take a look at that post and reply?

Looks like I am going with the Hypertech from Stage3.
One question before I pull the trigger. Since I have an SCT tune on the truck, would I have to return to stock with the SCT, then use the Hypertech to adjust tire size, then re-install the SCT tune? In doing that, would the tire size adjustment stick?
You would not return to stock first. You would keep your SCT/5-Star tune in the truck, then essentially tune the tire size with the Hypertech over it.

This does make things a bit convoluted when returning to stock (if you even do).

We had to do the same thing when the 2017 F150s came out. It took forever for SCT to crack the tire size calibrations, but Hypertech was on the ball.

You can always sell the Hypertech down the road when SCT does get its own tire size support.

Hope your folks in Utah are ok. My winch I ordered from y'all was coming from Utah and was advised today it was delayed due to the earthquake. Understably so. Again, I hope everyone is ok.
They're good. They did have to shutdown for the day to do a building inspection and all that jazz, but no one injured, thankfully. Granted, that combined with the whole COVID-19 thing has put a monkey wrench in just about everything, but we're still chooching for now.

Thanks for the response. About to order the Hypertech from y'all.

Glad everyone is ok and business was only temporally interrupted.

I used the NGauge from 5 Star Tuning to correct the speedo for larger tires. It is really fast and easy to do, besides having one of their awesome tunes on the Ranger.

You might try your dealer. Depending upon your relationship they may not charge you. I've done it twice, once with my '05 Ranger, and another with a Mustang Cobra. Dealer plugs in their lap top to the OBD port and selects tire size from a list and it's done - five minutes. Can also select various rear axle ratios as well.

I paid $40 for my ForScan dongle and used the software while under free trial. It’s very simple. There’s how-tos on YouTube for setting it up on your lap top and there’s tons of how-tos on calibrating tire size on F150s. The steps are the exact same. I have 285/70r17s and I am perfectly calibrated with GPS speed.

With Forscan I also turned on “Bambi mode” which makes fogs stay on with high beams. I also turned off the double honk when I get out of my truck with the remote in my pocket. There are a lot of neat features that can be added to our vehicles through ForScan and I recommend checking out the ForScan Wiki to see them all. If you have a non FX4 you can add the offroad screen to your display.

If you want links or need help with the $40 alternative I’d be happy to assist.

So what about us CA folks who want to remain legal? Any tire size re-calibration options for us? I am now running 285/75 - 17 (34" tall).

Has anyone found a dealer in orange county that will do the re-calibration?

ForScan is the answer for now, though I'm not sure how CARB feels about it.

Edge or SuperChips will probably have CARB-legal tuning options eventually, but I don't have anything resembling an ETA from those guys, especially in light of current circumstances.

I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers 255/80/R17 tires. Measure 32 5/8" tall. My speedo according to a GPS speed app is off by the following:

Speedo MPH - GPS MPH - Difference
40 - 44 - +4
45 - 50 - +5
50 - 56 - +6
60 - 66-67 - +6-7
65 - 72-73 - +7-8
70 - 78 - +8
80- 88-89 - +8-9
90 - 98-99 - +9

Sometimes it bounced between two speeds thus the two numbers.

Has anyone used a tuner to adjust for larger tires? If so, what brand? SCT says no such luck and no timeframe for when they will be able to.
I mount a set of 275/65R18 Goodyear Wranglers in place of stock 265/60R18s during our brief New Mexico winters and worry about our local fastidious PDs through our village and nearby pueblo. So, I used a GPS to figure out that I must add one mph through 35, two through 50, and three at 70+.

So far, so good.

Adjusted the speedo today. After a few tries, 31.25” was the magic number. The tires measure 32 5/8 so not sure how that math worked out but it’s dead on according to GPS from 5 to 75 mph.
No codes. The Hypertech works.
