What did you have to do to fit your +1 wheels with 32.5 to 33" tires with a 2.5" lift?
I'm asking because I can get a good deal on wheels. I prefer more postive offset but I like the wheels. I'm trying to decide if the pleasure will be worth the pain I cause myself.

I have 0 offset wheels with 265/70/17's. All I had to do was replace the front crash bars. Tiny bit of rub on the rear but I don't notice it, I still need to replace them but just haven't had the time

With a tire that big and a wheel offset like that even with a chrashbar change or delete you still run a big chance of rubbing.

Mind you I have 285/70-17 Firestone Destination XT's on the factory sport wheels with no spacers and the Old Man EMU lift. Do I rub when turning? Only at full lock. Did I do anything to the crash bars? Yes. I removed the plastic covers up front and pushed the bars forward. It worked well too.

Be prepared to remove your crash bars or replace them with something like the ReadyLIFT anti-intrusion beams. With 275/70R17s (32.2”) and +15mm offset, I was too close to rubbing but made the swap anyway. At 0 offset, you’re gonna rub with 32s, might even need to trim wheel liners with 33s.

You’ll also have a lot of poke and may have to move to NC, SC, or GA so you fit right in. ?

Good luck.

Yeah, local kid has a Toyota with - 12 . He let me look at his. Sticks out more then I would want. I just liked the wheels and they were a good price. Probably going to try to stay around + 20.

I think you’ll find some decent selection in the +25, +20 range - supply/inventory might be another story. Happy hunting. ?
