Currently I have a BDS leveling kit with their NX2 shocks on the rear. Within the year I plan on upgrading the front FX4 shocks to something better probably to Bilstein 5100s. Question is is it worth replacing the Nx2 rear shocks when I do the fronts, am I going to gain anything significant by going to Bilsteins in the rear other than cool factor and my BDS sticker might not be as accurate?

Not sure with actual experience but if I were to guess… it would be a better ride if you matched shocks. They probably are designed to be installed front and back together which offers that good ride quality they probably researched and designed around. But I’m just speaking off assumptions.

I would recommend matching all 4 corners, I don't know how the Nx2 shocks are valved but its a pretty safe bet they won't match the bilsteins.

If you are doing Bilstein front I would do it in the rear as well. Why you ask? Having a matched set of shocks will help with ride comfort and control. When mixed it can be a bit unbalanced Wich can be an issue

Well maybe I will go big on it and go with the 6112s on the front and 5160s in the rear for the cool factor
