geez. i thought someone bought a real jeep Comanche. i think of the 1990s comanche as the last ever jeep truck. i still want one. this one is instant let down for me... i was pumped for the jeep truck to come back.
i hate to be a hater but jeep couldnt build a jeep "truck" anymore if amc kaiser and willys all drew up plans and mailed them to jeep dodge chysler fiat stalatist or whoever owns them now. that front end tells me its a rengade cuv in a spiffed up wrapper. so sorta a econo box with a lil pickup bed. i get it. competing with market. ford has the maverick, ram is rumoring the dakota again and the jap brands have smaller and midsize as well. sadly i must come to terms that the jeep i want will never roll of a modern production line. its just not what sells or i should say is offered anymore to usa buyers.

They should just make a two-door Maverick already. Ford is such a bunch of cheap asses.
If this is anything like the Jeep Gladiator it'll be $10k over the price of the Maverick. I cross shopped a bit back in 2020 and the Gladiator was $5k more for a no A/C roll up window model. What a joke.

While I would also dig a 2 door midsize truck, the market won't support it.
If they released one, all the enthusiasts would collectively yell "YES!!" and then maybe 23 people would actually go out and buy it.
2 door trucks are unfortunately going the way of the manual transmission, which is why that J6 concept Jeep will most likely never see production.
