love the look of this truck man! I've wanted to see one lowered for awhile and it looks killer!
Thanks man!

There's a few lowered guys in the lowered thread, some lower than me, LOL!

If you haven't looked at my build thread from the beginning, I'll tell you that in 2019/2020, I was looking online for lowered Rangers and the first thing that caught my eye was the SCT SEMA 2019 Ranger! I hate having to sell my, (then mint), Miata to buy everything for the Ranger, but I wanted to get everything for it, before most of it became obsolete....

I looked at your truck briefly a minute ago and like the Grey. I wish I'd gone with more of a Titanium color, even though the Black hides all the trim and junk, but it's so hard to keep clean.... :( Since Method released my same wheels in Titanium...

Been a few months since I posted, but I installed my new UPR Dual Oil Catch Can. Took about 4 hours to do everything. Some of the hoses were assembled incorrectly and the instructions weren't as straight forward as owner Steve implied... Had to modify my engine cover and I ordered the drain kit, which will make things much easier in the cooler months!

On mid-21's to present, this is how the OEM upper PCV hose is routed and plugged into the intake. You can see the new Continental UPR Hoses where the 2 attach and head to the catch can.

All 3 hoses connected to the can.

This next part was awful, but I eventually figured it out. This is where a few hoses were built incorrectly... Not happy about what I had to do to the engine cover... :( I'm thinking about getting another cover and just cutting a hole in it, for the new thingy on top of the valve cover, if that could be possible?

Routed the drainage kit down to this area. This means all I'll have to do, is stick my hand under here every 3-5 days, in the winter/cold months, to easily clean out the can!

Good Job !

np

i didnt know we had a lowered thread section haha ill have to check it out.

thanks the carbonized grey is a neat color on how it shifts in lighting so its fun even thou i did want the cactus grey pretty bad haha. ya black looks great when clean but is a massive pain to keep clean! i had a 13 kia koup years back that was black and it would look good all cleaned up but then an hour later looked like i hadnt wasnt it in months haha. you can always change up the color of wheels to have more of a pop or if you want it all to blend in still vinyl wrap the truck and get the wheels in a color similar to it

Been a while since I updated anything on here, honestly, there's not much left to do to it or much left available to add to mine...

Last Monday, after I got home from work, I decided to do my 2nd oil change at 5460 miles total on my odometer :) I believe I was somewhere around 27% left on my previous change. I'll change it again in 6+/- months and probably add the Fumoto Valve. Since my truck's a lowrider(ish), I sort of want to add an engine/trans skid plate, but the one I want it like $800!

Anyway, a few months ago, I noticed my stock horns started sounded weak...? Took me forever to find a Wolo "airhorn" and then it took me about another month before I installed it. I just hacked up the OEM harness, lengthened it a bit, used the OEM mounting bracket and installed the airhorn in the OEM spot. Works as it should!

For the last few weeks, I've debated on buying a Foxbody Mustang, even with their insane inflated prices, but I also wanted a little quieter exhaust, as the AFE Power Rebel side muffler delete scares all my puppies and it's so hard to have a conversation with anyone on the outside of the passengers side... So, I decided to order some stuff for the Ranger, instead of looking endlessly for an old Mustang...

I ordered the MBRP Rear Dual Black Exhaust System this past Thursday and it showed up today. Took about 2.5 hours to installed and most of that time was modifying my rear Belltech shackles, so I could get the tips to stick out straight, instead of the insane angle they were at... I assume this isn't for dropped Rangers, but I got everything lined up!

I pre-assembled it to see how it was routed under the truck. I like that part of the pipe is also coated Black!

Took a while to get these lined up, at least I believe they're lined up and I love the 3.5" Rolled Tips!

After the exhaust install, I did this:

Tomorrow, I'm going to attempt to removed the cloth covers on the rear seat and install the Katskins and reinstall it. I have to wait on the front seat heater elements, before I can install them. I'll post pics, when I do!

I also have ordered the Redtek Auto-down Window thingy and 5 Kicker Speakers, with the 5th one being installed on top of the dash, along with the Lariat Center Speaker Cover.

I accidentally destroyed the Lariat Engine Cover, when I installed my UPR Catch Can and apparently these stupid things went through the roof! I've been looking at the V6 Raptor/F150 Engine Covers and thinking maybe I can make a bracket and make it fit?

Keep continuing to impress me with this build. I‘ve been a big fan of your truck from the start but I just can’t get enough!

So, today, I couldn't wait for the Hog Ring Pliers to show up, so I decided to put on the rear Katzkin cover. I started removing the stock cover about 10am and got finished at 3:40pm. Took about 15 minutes to put it back into the Ranger. Anyway, I'll work on the front seats whenever I get the heating elements. I might wait until the weekend.

It also included the Leather Inserts for the doors, but I'm unsure if I'll install them?

Luckily, I found a complete 4 part video series last night, that helped tremendously!
2021+ Ford Ranger Katzkin Leather Installation PART 3 - Back Seat

I didn't use a bit of steam on these, just muscle! The Alabama heat will get whatever wrinkles are showing out very soon! I had an awful time removing the center armrest and broke a plastic piece on it, but nobody ever rides in the back, so no harm done, LOL!

I also broke one of the headrest guides, but they're only like $5 from Benny, so I'll order a couple to be on the safe side for the front seats.

I'm not going to lie, this was not fun and I can see why people charge a fortune to do this kind of work! My thumbnails and tips of my fingers are hurting beyond what words can describe.... :( Tomorrow at work is going to be awful

Anyway, enjoy the pics so far!

how much did those covers run you?
$678.98 w/o tax & shipping for the all the seats plus door panel inserts

and

$ 86.99 w/o tax & shipping for the heating elements.

Should've bought these when I bought my truck in '21, as I would've saved a little bit... Back then, the covers were $599.99 and the heating elements were $82.99.

After watching that video, I can't see me fooling with the doors.
Yep! I didn't even know what those were for until I watched that video the other night... The XLT door panels might be easier to do, since they have cloth already, but I'll check, when I get my door panels off...?

I found a plethora of KO Carbon Fiber interior pieces for my truck and was wondering if adding more CF was a good or bad idea?
