Is top of windshield supposed to be flush?

So I just doubked checked mine.
It's actually flush, mostly.

I'd say it's about 1/4 of an inch, less even, past the roofline


So not flush like most others, but more so than yours.

Just checked mine. It’s looks like yours - not quite flush but doesn’t look like the OP’s either which seems quite off. I had the auto glass place fix some window chips - I would have thought they would have noticed if the windshield was off.

Mine is also flush to the roof line. I wonder if this is a “tell” for those that are on the recall list or if it’s the source of that mysterious whistling noise some folks have reported.

Some of the other pictures posted here appear to show the windshield set too far down. How does something so obvious get missed in the QA process?

wait, which recall are people talking about? Is it the windshield bonding one? Why might that apply here? Mine is a '21, from march 2021.

Verified that mine is flush as well.

Drive it around Arizona for a month. You'll get enough damage to get insurance to replace it.

Definitely not right. Almost seems like a gasket for the windshield but Ford did not do it like such. I would recommend going back and having it corrected.
