Is top of windshield supposed to be flush?

Is the top of the windshield supposed to be flush?
The body shop ford contracted out for my mold issue (see that thread), as well as a wind noise issue, said they noticed that the windshield wasn't flush with the top of the cab.
Is this normal or abnormal?
Sorry for the low resolution photo -- it's an extract from my walk around video when it left the vehicle with them, and I don't have the vehicle back yet.

But I think it shows the issue they pointed out.

Good to know, thanks. Just gathering info on what others have, eg to see if it contributes to wind noise or not.

never noticed mine sticking up, but then again iIwasn't specifically looking.
But I did notice other imperfections like my hood and fenders off kilter, my rear bumper to the left more etc. If my windshield was out, I'm assuming it would have caught my eye at some point

Wow, no that's not right. I can zoom in better on my computer but here I can see mine was perfectly flush.

Just went and checked. Mine is nice and flush with the roofline.

I don't even have my Ranger anymore and I can tell you it didn't look like that, and shame on anyone at the dealership that wouldn't see that's an issue. Even the receptionist should be able to tell you that's not in spec.

Mine is flush now. Before it was re glued it stuck up a little and there was more wind noise. Is yours in the recall?

So I just doubked checked mine.
It's actually flush, mostly.

I'd say it's about 1/4 of an inch, less even, past the roofline


So not flush like most others, but more so than yours.

Hi JB,

The windshield upper edge should be flush with the roof header... What you have is not right and being proud like that can be a source of wind whistle/ wind noise.... The windshield needs to be reset in my opinion....More sloppy assembly quality out of Michigan Truck Assembly.
