...the driver side armrest?

Anyone have ideas on making it useful?

My left elbow doesn't touch it naturally.

Is there a modification?

Thanks.

I have a small pillow. Have had that pillow for years in every vehicle I've owned.

Reaction time is better when both hands are on the wheel. If your arms are tired then it is time too stop and rest.

Did I miss something?

I use the pillow to rest my elbow on the armrest. Both hands are on the steering wheel. I'm just raising the arm rest to place my elbow.

The Ranger was designed in Australia for driving on the "wrong" side of the road whilst sitting on the "wrong" side of the cab. When they brought it to the States, they switched the door cards to Left Hand Drive spec. Apparently yours slipped through with the original Australian Right Hand Drive spec door cards. Take it back to your Ford dealer and have them swapped out. You'll be fine.

I think that the whole panel needs to be redesigned. There is what appears to be an arm rest but in the wrong place, also the window switches are too close to me, I can't reach them with my left hand.
