Intermittent errors with Blind Spot Monitor

You have apparently had this code for quite a while. See this:

That is too funny - I don't even remember that! I'm not going to worry about that one. It came back after I cleared all the DTCs after I got all the wiring patched back together.

I think my fix turned out pretty good - if you didn't know, you'd think nothing ever happened:

I reset that one DTC but it came right back. The A/C and heat work fine - it doesn't seem to be causing any issues and since it has been hanging around for a while I'm just going to ignore it.

I'm just really happy I was able to find and fix this issue myself. If it hadn't been for you guys with your suggestions and help I never would have continued pushing thru it. It just dawned on me while working on it today that since I know there was a mouse in the back seat somewhere, it would probably make sense to look in that vicinity for damaged wires.

Looks good and glad that it works. The air inlet damper controls outside air entering the HVAC unit or recirculating air.

Good to see you got the fix! Not good to see the mice screw up so many vehicles. I can say with all of this testing, depending on your comfort level and skill of mechanics, a power probe makes a hell of a tool for a test light! Add power add ground, ohms all kind of stuff. It was a game changer for me as a mechanic. I did that work some 10 plus years ago.
@airline tech , i see all the grounds on the wiring diagram, i remeber on lots of vehicles the bcm or other modules would add ground to eletronics, is that still the same, changing, or only certain vehicles? Its been a while since i have been in a garage

Electrical stuff has always been a challenge for me. I can do basics, but I know enough to be really dangerous - especially on modern vehicles. Older stuff I can do a lot more on.

I have this - and can plus 1 - they are nice - it looks like the price has jumped a lot since I bought mine
