2019 Ranger XLT. Changed left tailight after cracking lens. Blind spot cross traffic working. Replaced with assy that was for Blis/cross traffic assy. (The expensive one) All lights work, but now blis/CT does not. Was only 1 plug. Any ideas why blind spot won't work?

I have no idea why the replacement isn't working. I would put the cracked one back on to see it the CT works. If it does, then check the replacement for bent or poorly seated connecters. If all looks great but still not working, its time for a new replacement.

I believe those BLISS modules are keyed to the truck. You have to tell the truck, somehow/somewhere that a new module is there.
What kind of problems would unhooking the battery cause? Maybe this would reset?

Not sure.

IIRC though you can't just swap BLISS modules. You have to initialize the modules either via ForScan or a dealer tool of some sort.

You should be able to remove the original BLISS module from your cracked tailight housing and install that to the new housing.

Just unplugging the battery likely won't do it as the modules are serialized to your truck.

D Fresh is correct. you have 2 options, swap old Side Obstacle Detection Control Module over to the new assembly, or take to dealer with both units and have them upload the module configuration from the old unit and then install new unit and download to the new module.
So, with that per the manual. You might try Forscan and see if there is any kind of module reset for the SODL (L=Left). However, for ease, just swap the old to new unit.

Basically, if you can do it with Forscan, the new module needs to have the As- Built files loaded into it, and I have not dug into Forscan enough to know if it can do it.

I'm not here just to be an asshole. Mostly.

Every now and then I have to do some good so Dave lets me stick around.

Something our yellow buddy forgot.

Thank you everyone. I took all offered info into consideration and took the BLIS module from old tailight assy and swapped it in my new to me assy. Other than those dang Ford connectors are hard on old arthritic fingers, it works like new. Appreciate the help.
