That is too funny - I don't even remember that! I'm not going to worry about that one. It came back after I cleared all the DTCs after I got all the wiring patched back together.

I think my fix turned out pretty good - if you didn't know, you'd think nothing ever happened:

I reset that one DTC but it came right back. The A/C and heat work fine - it doesn't seem to be causing any issues and since it has been hanging around for a while I'm just going to ignore it.

I'm just really happy I was able to find and fix this issue myself. If it hadn't been for you guys with your suggestions and help I never would have continued pushing thru it. It just dawned on me while working on it today that since I know there was a mouse in the back seat somewhere, it would probably make sense to look in that vicinity for damaged wires.

Looks good and glad that it works. The air inlet damper controls outside air entering the HVAC unit or recirculating air.
