Interior Ambient Lighting

I found this option in the truck after someone posted about it (I forgot who or I'd give them credit) anyway here is a couple of pics.

I had no idea this was even an option in the truck but I am glad to have it!! I thought it was a nice touch.

I have mine set to the same color and really like it. I know some say theirs isn't bright but I think it's just enough and gives it a nice soft lighting inside the cab.

I updated SYNC a while back and I swear the ambient lighting is brighter after the update.

I haven't updated mine but I do like the soft color it puts out now. I think any brighter (I know there's a dimmer) and it'd be to distracting. It would've been nice if the center cupholders had the ambient lighting in them too.

I agree with you on the cupholders - that would have been badass!

My truck is Black with pink so this color was my 1st choice.

Ambient Lighting comes only on the Lariat trim.

There are lots of LED ambient light options in the aftermarket. I just got a couple of these.

USB LED

My F-150 doesn't have this but the center console near the USB ports does have a couple of ambient lights there. (Ice blue of course). Don't recall this being a thing on the Rangers unless it's a Lariat otherwise. Gonna miss that. Even the USB ports have a light around them.


I also miss it from my Fiesta. Almost every nook and cranny on that car had lights in it. Same with the MINIs I had.
