Anyone know if there is a way to make it a little brighter? Asking for a friend

I had a 2014 Taurus limited that I traded in for my Ranger. It had ambient Lights and it was very bright, the floors, cup holders and doors would look great at night.

i was disappointed that the rangers ambient light isn’t that noticeable and bright.

Have to agree with you. The only place I really see the ambient light is where the usbs are in front cubby

Really surprised the cup holders aren't lit. A bit brighter would be nice too.

I bet you are correct.... and I guess that works for them, but it doesn't make sense to me and it makes for unhappy customers.

Hi El,

Affordable targets are a real joke in my opinion...nothing affordable about them to make the customer happy. They are created by the bean counters and Marketing. They are then handed to Engineering to force us to meet them, many of which it becomes hard to do with out trade offs. Did not meet the targets...Bye bye bonus...

Beanies think engineers will do every thing in gold plate if not provided oversight of their designs.

This has been just about the only thing I was disappointed about with this truck. My prior vehicle was a 2008 Escape Hybrid, and it had fantastic ambient lighting. Plenty bright, multi-color, and in the cup holders. When I finally had a chance to adjust the lighting and realized a) it's REALLY dim, even at it's brightest setting and b) there are no lights in the cupholders I'm pretty sure I said "Aw, man!" right out loud.

Your best bet is going with an aftermarket kit. I have one in my Lariat off Amazon. I have the color synced with the interior lariat lighting. Check out @A_Jake_Life on Instagram to see a video if you want.
