Ah just like the other fabulous bolt on shops like Shrockworks......

Sorry for suggesting that you support a local tradesman over some R&D Bros for double the price. I guess some people just wanna burn money lol
[/QUOTE]

You came in to a thread about RCI sliders and tried to talk people out of supporting a company who is making a product for us. Its not for everyone, and that's fine, but not everyone wants to make a permanent modification to the truck.

Congratulations on finding a local welder, but this is a thread about RCI and the sliders they are making for our trucks. When I bought my sliders, there were 3 options. Now there are more. More options is better.

As you said, more options is better. I'm just letting you know a local welder could do a similar job for less money most likely.

I'm sorry that's so offensive to you. Best of luck out there ?

WTF is going on here? You have multiple personalities or something? You're arguing with yourself.

If you don't want the RCI product, don't buy it. If you have a suggestion for a local shop that's taking work, start another thread in the CO section

I made a post saying I paid half what the RCI sliders cost and y'all take it as absolute blasphemy lmao.

All I've said is support the little guy, I have no skin in this game (unlike the poster who got his RCI sliders for free in exchange for being the guinea pig).

Sorry I touched a nerve here, I'd be annoyed too if I could paid less for something.

Anything you have to say about sliders or are you just here to bash me? ?

I'm here to say, don't crap on the original thread. Bad manners.

If you legitimately know of a shop that will take the work, pass it along to other members in CO by starting another thread in the Colorado section of the forum.

Or are you just here to talk smack about what you allegedly paid for yours without backing any of it up?

I've bought plenty of stuff from RCI before. It's been quality made and their customer service has been stellar. They are also offering people here a discount as early adopters in the group buy, which is less than the price on the page, and closer to what you're 'allegedly' paying in your small shop.

Not really sure which of us is running their gums and which is contributing to the issue at hand ?

Like I said.....I don't have skin in the game, I'll refer the CO shop that did my work, but literally ANY welder can do it. For cheaper.....

Again, I just offered another option in the thread. Sorry for offering a cheaper option for others who may be interested in sliders. If you don't wanna weld to your truck, idc, it's your truck so just drive it and be happy.

If you're not sure who's running their gums just look in the mirror ?

I'll spend the rest of my Friday putting on my Fox 2.5 while you guys criticize, name call, and mope about. Get off the Internet and chill big dog.

Paid roughly half that for welded and powder coated sliders from a local welder.

Support your local shops or they might not be around when you need em in the future.

I have RCI skids, when I picked them up almost two years ago they said they had no plans for rock sliders. Ended up having a local welding shop do mine about a year ago. Very happy with the quality and the price. Shop also does custom bumpers, hopefully in the next year or so I can start that process.

I’ll post here when we have more info, I’ll also make a new thread on them, wonder if my local welder could make some….
Jk..
RCI is my local welder… ?

RCI FOR THE WIN

I can get behind some LCA armor. Mine definitely have a couple scratches haha.

I just recently upgraded from Billie Bars to the RCI 12-inch HD bed rack and some of their accessories. They do quality work and products fit like a glove and customer service was great. I live in the middle of the Mojave desert and I have no local welders to fabricate rock sliders for me. So, if I didn't already have Shrockworks rock sliders, I would be very interested in the RCI sliders..

I don't simp for free products like you, but go on boss man.

Hopefully everyone got their panties unknotted by the end of their work day ?

Looks identical to mine, that guy does great work ?

But be careful....this is an "RCI only" thread as I was informed ?

Ughhhh......maybe put the phone down after a couple of beers or ask someone to proofread for ya.

"To each THEIR own"

You'd use the possessive in this case, rather than the contraction "they're" which is short for "they are".

Anyways, best of luck reading (and comprehending) all these words. Don't get a headache ?
