I'm also pretty sure that eliminating self-performed maintenance is one of the reasons the EPA is pushing EVs.Federal Agencies should not be mandating anything until they get their own house in order, For Instance...
- DENVER -- The Environmental Protection Agency said Friday it will not repay claims totaling more than $1.2 billion for economic damages from a mine waste spill the agency accidentally triggered in Colorado, saying the law prohibits it.
- EPA still failing to act on widespread toxic chemical contamination of U.S. drinking water
It's certainly not because the electricity that powers them is produced in environmentally friendly coal fired plants, or the environmentally friendly battery packs when they need to be disposed of.
Back to the transmission fluid:
I have a brand new in the box Mishimoto pan in my garage that I'm hesitant to install until after my warranty is out.
If (maybe when) something goes wrong with my transmission, I wouldn't be surprised a bit if Ford denied warranty due to an aftermarket pan, regardless if it's better than the factory pan.
I'll also remove my Fitzstick if I take it in for the transmission to be looked at.
Ford is apparently becoming as bad as Hyundai about attempting to dodge warranty claims so I don't want to give them anything to throw back at me.
