Only caveat to this is: if you have non-OEM tire/wheel/diff ear ratios, you can use the ProCAL to set the correct speedometer settings (revolutions per mile based on tire/wheel combo) and/or diff ratio without FORSCAN or any stand-alone speedo adjustment tool.. Makes a huge difference in the computers calculation of mpg. Look under the Maintenance off the main menu.In the box in my closet, once tuned not needed again unless you are one of those detail oriented people who like to monitor every little thing.
Haven't seen to many here change their rear diff or gear ratio's, tires for sure, but those are easy to adjust for, most just want to wake up the eco-boost.Only caveat to this is: if you have non-OEM tire/wheel/diff ear ratios, you can use the ProCAL to set the correct speedometer settings (revolutions per mile based on tire/wheel combo) and/or diff ratio without FORSCAN or any stand-alone speedo adjustment tool.. Agreed. Just noting that the ProCAL offers the diff ratio option... which surprised me.Haven't seen to many here change their rear diff or gear ratio's, tires for sure, but those are easy to adjust for, most just want to wake up the eco-boost.
wow never had to do a relearn with my unleashed tune . and under unleased the 10 speed in not sloppy at allmines in the truck but not hooked up. stored under the seat. i keep it handy for checking trouble codes or forcing the sloppy 10 speed to start a new relearn
It is solely based off the vehicle original purchase date. For example if you are like me and bought your truck on October 30th 2019 you would be SOL and have no more warranty. If it was the same month and day but in 2021 you would have warranty until October 30th of 2024(or by mileage/kilometers if those came first).Just a quick question on the warranty on the FPT
On a new truck purchase....in Canadian mileage I have 3yr / 60,000km bumper to bumper and 5yr / 100,000km powertrain warranty
The FPT is 3 yr / 36,000 mile (60,000) whichever comes first is that off the balance of trucks own warranty or is that solely the warranty of the FPT
I currently have 28000 miles or 45,000km at present
