I had a rental GT with the 10 speed auto for a week.

I really enjoyed driving it.

The way it blipped the throttle on the downshifts in Sport mode was way cool!

Between all the "muscle" cars out there now, the Mustang is the only one I would seriously consider buying.

I will say that the Challenger SRT with the 392 sounds absolutely GLORIOUS and is also a hoot to drive, it's just way too big for a muscle car and it feels like it.

Automatics are always faster. But the manuals let you drive the car. (As long as our knees allow the option.)

Correction, automatics are quicker due to consistent shifting. A manual transmission will ha e less overall power loss compared to an Automatic.

I love the GT's, but sold my '20 with less than 6k miles on it. I didn't drive it enough. Bought a '22 Sonata Limited and drive that thing as my commuter and long-haul ride. I f'n love that car. Great mileage, every bell and whistle, mom isn't trying to race me in her mini van off every light, and only $34k otd. (You can just see the Ranger in the reflection on the Mustang door...lol)

If you don't mind me asking, what did they give you for your Ranger and how many miles were on it. Just curious, I have a 2019 Lariat with 25k miles.

$26k that was with 60k miles, and had been used as a work truck for a bit, so it did have some dings and nicks
