I'm curious, why bother removing the tune, Pedal commander, CAI, etc.? Seems like extra work for nothing. If she doesn't "need" the performance then just keep her pedal commander in a lower eco setting.
Just out of curiosity, take your normal highway route but set the cruise at 55mph for as long as it is feasible (without pissing off too many people for going to slow) and reset your trip and mpg then see what the truck says you are getting while maintaining the 55mph.
I got this 2 and a half years ago and still love the sound. Pricey but worth it to me.

Are you sure they are the same blades? Please post a link to those blades on Rock Auto and we can see if they are indeed the exact same ones that Discount tire is selling.
If the markup is worth it to you then by all means order one. Sounds like you are not in need of one or need to be in a hurry which means you have all the time you want to shop dealers until you find someone you are comfortable with.
For #6... We drive to FL from OH and find it very comfortable. However there are only my wife and myself, we are empy nesters. I will say though that there are differences between seats as we have a Lariat and from what I have heard here from some, the Lariat seats are more comfortable.
We did a Disney trip in 2020 and drove the Ranger. It was about the same round trip distance as you did. We actually found the seats very comfortable and have no issues with using the truck for long trips. We are planning to go back to Florida soon for the birth of our granddaughter and will...
I have this exact one. Picked it up at Harbor Freight. Fairly inexpensive and gets pretty decent reviews. Seems to be pretty accurate against my standard torque wrench. Use it primarily for lug nuts.
I am also tuned (Livernois Performance) with a Pedal Commander and agree with your comments. Honestly the debate about a throttle control has been beaten to death. Those that have one will agree and those that don't will never agree. It's like politics, debating it is pretty much pointless...
I would have went back to the dealer right away and questioned the tech while the service was still fresh in his mind. Maybe he put in the correct oil but mismarked the paperwork. I would not want to go through the hassle of an oil change if there was a chance it was a typo.
