I'm having trouble seeing the control panel in all times of day. For whatever reason, I prefer using those controls over the info panel. Has anyone come up with a way to make the button more visable? Ive seen the psot with the wood grain stick on, while it looks cool, and seems to make the buttons more visable, that's not the look for me...

There's nothing you can do to brighten the controls to where you can see them in the daytime. I either use the touchscreen or just turn on my parking lights for a minute so it illuminates the dash controls.

I just leave it on Auto.

The HVAC controls is my single biggest gripe with the Ranger. They truly suck.

Multiple buttons that look and feel the same and require you to look away from the road to use.

Whoever came up with and approved this design over simple rotary knobs needs to be relegated to designing accessories for Wish.com

It was suggested here to use clear stick on dot covered stickers for low vision. Then by touch, you know which button you have. It helped me. I found some on Amazon somewhere, but really don’t remember what I bought.

Sorry everyone. I'm not able to upload my photo to the forum.
I bought 3/8 inch dots, red and blue, and stuck them onto the heater controls.
