At night I find the light and glare distracting from the touchscreen. I’ve changed to dark background and softer color. Not much better. Is there some type of light diffuser I can purchase to soften the light?

I don't think there is. Why not just tint the screen with a light - med tint? Tint shops have all different % tints that I'm sure they'd have one that'll work

Never mind my answer.....See Jacks post below.

On the left side of the steering wheel, where your light control knob is, there is and up and down button to dim the console/touch screen brightness.
I guess you learn something new every day. I don't think I've ever adjusted mine since I got it. lol

Its nice, it is quite dark on the lowest setting (which I use for night driving).
That's probably why, I don't do much night driving. Heck with only 29,000 miles in 3.5 years I don't much driving at all.

14,000 in about 3 years. I like a good night drive, less traffic, chance to stretch some aux lights out instead of usual slow tooting on the trail.

But then how will I see the music I’m blaring at 18 volume on the B&O?

I installed a screen protection just like what you put on your cell phone. Was inspired when I saw the story here of someone who cracked his screen with a vacuum cleaner.

The matt finish helps the glare!

Sun glare from the surrounding bezel and nearby vents is equally annoying.
No, it's just shy of being a safety hazard. whoever likes to put shiny things on the dashboard should be fired. On my todo list is rigging some kind of visor to go over the screen so the bezel doesn't blind me when the sun is just right.

Seems some long time back there was someone that took all the bezels out and either painted them or maybe wrapped them somehow? I remember it being tedious but effective for him.

I think it was Jack. Yep, it was @OFC Ranger and @JoeDirt who painted/tinted them. It was driving Joe batty, so he took action. I think Jack just wanted to make his look better.

Here’s the link for Joe’s solution…
